how to mark your mark in nepal? its scary to think about all the social abuse a woman has to tackle in nepal. for one, living at home is not accepted hell, if you get an appartment by yourself in ktm, you are already looked as an "alternative" kinda life seeker so for a single woman in kathmandu , its only that much harder parents , dont allow women to live alone , unless you have a husbad so is husband like a work permit nowadays? you cant work in sexual or reproductive health unless you have one of them? if you dont have a husband, then you need u upporting family in kathmandum, a luxury itself so how do we return? as single nepali women, full of dreams and enthusiasm?

Ruby ji, you said "....parents , dont allow women to live alone , unless you have a husbad ....". Buba muma lai timi dekhi kina bitrisna lageko hola? testo ta hunu naparne.... afno buba ama sanga basna lai pani sriman nai chahine ho ra? It sounds you are interested working in HIV/AIDS or reproductive health aspects. Probably Maiti Nepal type of NGO may be better to work. But there r hundreds of NGOs and INGOs. It shouldnt be a problem for you going back Nepal. So far to live in Ktm, there are some Girl's hostels where you can stay safe.
