Yeah it's a great book. I have read it thoroughly when I was taking history class. It is a very splendidly written and elaborate masterpiece.
It makes you cross-think the understanding of your history knowledge which you normally perceive to have understand.
Yes, Howard Zinn is a leftist liberal from political standpoint; but still it is one of the most unbiased piece of work I have ever enjoyed reading.
Appreciate that you have read it too, yes we all try to read it if time permits within your busy schedule.

If you liked Howard Zinn's book, you will love Appleman's The Tragedy of American Diplomacy!

Also, Hartin Hart-Landsberg's book on Korean War is impressive.

Happy Reading

Appleman's book is definately on my list. Right now I am reading Noam Chomsky's Washington coneection and third world fascism. I think Howard Zinn;s book completely opened my eyes about the way history has been told. And Noam Chomsky is awesome, mind you, he's written about 90 plus books!! I didnt really think about how the world politics fuctions, other than what CNN has to say, but now Im really finding all this sooooo fascninating. Specially the liberal, alternative view. I'm sice of hearing news from the Corporate media, and am not buying thier stories anymore!! LOL
