There is no regulatory environment in this Neo Nepali Aloo market...just a hypothetical ! Wait, I am revisiting the meaning of 'best practice.' Planning practices place a high priority on meeting the leagal and licensing requirements, but what are they doing to improve their business management processes ? America returned businesses neophytes are wackadooos in practice and kite flying high in American theories not relevant to the needs and wants of Nepalese customers.... Best practice means that if business develops and maintains 'best habits' it will assure itself of increasing its growth and profitability prospects. It is imperative that as a business principal one stands back to to view the business beyond its core service compliance requirements. This never happens in Nepal as Tiwari described high 'tall poppies' are always bribing the kleptocratic Nepalese Politicians and Bureaucrats. Ghus...ghus...and more ghus...and this is vicious viciously driving Nepalese MAHA MODERN POVERTY. What I recommend is change in the management of the practice that exists in the Nepalese MAHA ALOO economy under corrupt and evil Gyanendra. However, before change management and implementation, Nepalese must identify 1. What drives Nepalese business. 2. What planning needs to be done and dedicate time for it. 3. Nepalese communities' preferred growth plan. 4. What resources are required. 5. A good source of external advice. Following through is what makes the difference between success and failure. Making a practice a best practice is basically about identifying the gaps, filling them, and then working on the model that keeps the gaps from reappearing.
