Does anyone knows what is the best calling card to Nepal at this moment?
Chordaku420 Posted on 07-Aug-03 12:07 PM

It is called MIKASA and $ 5 worth of card gives you 36 minutes and $ 10 gives 80 minutes. You can buy $ 10.00 card for $ 8.00. I bought it from Nepali own convenience store of DC suburb.

Good Luck,

Right MiCASA is the good one but it has some flaws,,,

$1 Connection fee, and after 24hrs of the first call then .79 cent of maintenance fee.

I am not happy using this card, Yesterday i bought and i lost almost $5 just trying to connect but if you can get through at the first time then yes you can get 36 mins for $5.

Just my one cent view.

Cheers

You can buy Mi Casa card from your home at http://www.dhukuti.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv?Screen=SFNT&Store_Code=001

It's a best card right now for one time call. It costs only $5.

nepalithito is right. miCasa is probably the best card for Nepal in terms of number of mins. $5 one gives between 33 and 36 mins.

However, if you don't use it up in one call, or if the call breaks, then you loose 10-12 mins.

The customer service won't refund any money for lost mins. This is true for most cards these days.

jaani jaani ta katdaina, tara kehi gari katiyo bhane, customer service le chahin firta dindaina.

But, I guess that small risk is worth the potential 36 mins.

miCasa card is available as "Total Talk" card at www.himtel.com.

don't know how long this card will last though.

I haven't dealt with Himtel but DHUKUTI.com has a great service. No pretense, no nothing, they sell Mi Casa as Mi Casa and not as some other stuff. Mr. Bohara is right, it is a one time card and I have been using it for a while now with out any issue.

I wish someone from DHUKUTI.com would come and give us some info on some of their best cards! They do have some variety. I want them o come here and tell us ... I don't want to market for them ... unless they pay me!! Ha Ha Ha ... guys and gals of Dhukuti.com ... come on take this opportunity to tell us about the cards you have.

We want to know!!
