I still wonder why caste is still important? it's already 21 century and the nepalese culture, even the well educated parents think caste is very important for successful marriage. Still lots of girls (may be boys too) ditch their love, and go for the arranged marriage.. is it the lack of commitment, confidence or caste and parent's support really the most important one.. without which marriage cannot succeed. I could never understand caste system.. and how come it is so important.

Birader kathmanudite! You is not educasion peopal or what? Them caste is very importance. Them it is very importance to do them government. You is live too many years in them USA. Them Caste is very importance in them our systam. Them we needs to have them Caste or them goverment not run if we is not have caste system. You is needs to wake up birader Kathmanduite and you is needs to read all them his story. You is really needs to get some educasion.

caste system is important for those who benefit from it financially socially or otherwise. People on the top , will use it against people on the bottom, and hence this hierarchial society wont collapse. Unless people march on the streets for it. Just like Nepalis marched against the Panchayat(which fully didnt work) , they should march against the caste system, and persuade the Supreme Court to penalize who discriminate on basis of caste.

Why whats wrong with caste system? Teyo to abba testya hoon....Yaha aaayera maaja gaarne, ani nepal gaayera chaaukh budhi bhiye gaarne..
