Go to Kathmandu, save democracy: Koirala

INARUWA, Aug 14 - President of Nepali Congress Girija Prasad Koirala has said that the next phase of the people's movement launched by the five political parties will be pressure oriented and the slogan for it will be "go to Kathmandu, save democracy".
President Koirala was addressing a special district conference in Sunsari district Thursday held with the objective of calling upon the dedicated and committed party activists to take part in the people's movement in Kathmandu next month.
About ten thousand activists from Sunsari are likely to go to Kathmandu and as the announcement for the first phase of the people's movement of 1990 was also made in Sunsari, the slogan of go to Kathmandu, save democracy has also been made here for the first time, Koirala added.
