Yes, It was another wonderful display of soccer but mostly from the newly soccer emerging CT boys. On a cloudy and humid evening, CT boys took care of their rivals with an impressive 6 dangers. Match started with some nice and crisp passes from both sides and led to a Connecticut penalty on a handball inside the D-Area. With no doubts in his mind, Aashish Chalise put the ball in the back of the net with his smooth left footed shot. Thats all CT boys needed to get it rollin'. Captain, Lolo Rai played exceptionally well throughout this one sided match. His through ball caught the defenders off guard and led to a controversial goal from Durga Sharma to make the game 2-0. And down the stretch of the first half, Aashish scored another goal to fade the game away. Then again, few possessions later, Udesh Gajral scored on a sloppy ball bouncing on 6 yards box. It seemed like Boston were gonna have one long evening. Whistle blew for the first half with Connecticut leading 4-0. It was definitely a fun atmosphere, friendly environment and scary evening with lightening and thunderstorms. The game resumed in the second half with Aashish scoring again to complete his hatrick. This is the second hatrick in as many games. Boston playing with pride scored a goal 10 minutes prior to the final whistle. At this point the score was 5-1. Ct boys sealed the deal with another goal from Udesh Gajral to settle the final score of 6-1 in favor of the boys.

Go Connecticut Seems like if CT plays with NY again (next?) it would be a match to watch. Let's set up a match within a month or so.

Wonderful reflection hd3.. I should say I was really impressed by our CT BOYS. It was worth the time despite occasional scary lightenings in the background. I was particularly impressed with the coordination and teamwork of CT BOYS. It was good to see few fans as well. The only part that disappointed me was the fact that few gals were routing for bridgeport rather than ct as a whole ..GRRRRR!!! of course, bridgeport did have the majority of the players.....but we were there as well ;)! hd3, how about another friendly game in dashain and a party afterwards the game. CT ppl are interested in hosting the game. THey asked me to relay the info to you.! WAY TO GO CT!! btw, Boston, good display as well. Perhaps u need more practice re kya ;). BOru, boston bros, if yor egos are hurt, try in basketball..eheh !!

How about east coast match on Labor day weekend? We (CT) can host a match with 4 teams. CT, Boston, NY and one more (DC, NJ, PA) team. Semi-final on Saturday and Final on Sunday. Doesn't have to be a big event just ordinary matches like we had with Boston and NY and certificate ceremony at the end (Sunday). Say what Help_Desk_3 bro?

Not to make any excuses, because we did lose fair and square. But, guys, we were missing quite a few of our better players. CT is good and I think capable of beating us 3 out of 5 times, even when we are at full strength. In the spirit of making games more competetive, and more fun, I suggest we play on a day which is more convenient for more of our better players, the next time we meet. Such a day would be Mondays, by the way. And of course, Aashish will be a marked man the next time we play :) [Aashish, this comment is only out of respect of course.] bik.

Hey!! oys_chill!! I just wanted to clarify a comment made by u. The soccer team that played NYC and Boston was from Bridgeport, CT. We never claimed to represent the state of Connecticut. We had only two players not from Bridgeport. The name CT boys was somehow posted but the team is actually from Bridgeport so it is justifiable that the supporters were cheering for bridgeport, sorry to dissappoint you. However, if there is a team representing connecticut, I am sure our boys will be glad to take part. Hai ta!!

Tyehi Ta!!! Sorry again!! about the dissappointment oys_chill.... Hey! but thanks for supporting us eventhough it was by mistake!! And our guys are still willing to participate if there is a Connecticut team!!! Don't get us wrong, we just believe that a Connecticut Team will be a lot stronger than the one Bridgeport has now. I'm sure there are a lot of great players around CT that would love to take part if somebody were to take the initiative.. For now we'll remain a team from bridgeport, the responsibiity of an entire state would be too much to handle!! Hai Ta!!!
