Just heard CK Lal on NPR, he said that , US may have been involved in the agenda of the peace talks. he also said that Maoists came to the table b/c they were nervous about possibility of further US involment. When the radio host asked him if Nepal was a stage for islamist militia (as US officials are worried about) , he said the US was just paranoid.

Confused? Mixed up? BBC or NPR? CK Lal or Chitra Krishna Tiwari? Not the same person.
