Hi Shajaites! Yolmo Sanjh 2003 date has been changed. The event will be held this Sunday August31, 2003. Monday is a labor day, so dun worry! the New York crowd stay up very late. Colorful Cultural Program & Dj Dance party @ Kasturi Club, Astoria, New York. Se ya there if u r there, dun miss it AUGUST 31, 2003

Birader Best! What them is this Yolmo Saanjh? Them say Yolmo Society of America. Them some type or Cult peopal or what? What is them Yolmo Society of America? I is also going to open them Rastafariya Society of America and have them Rastafariya Saanjh. Them peopal in da picture looks like them Nepalis. I is just not have no informasion about them Yolmo Society of America. Them it is posted in Sajha.com. So it them must be for all or only for them membars of them Yolmo Society of America? Hey Rastafriya, Dun know where u come from coz Rastrafriya is an wierd name for me, heard 1st time, may b dats ur last nickname, anyway whatever. The event Yolmo Sanjh is organized by Yolmo Society of America, registered non profit organization in USA. This event is open to all Nepalese people. Yolmo means people from Helembu, a part of Nepal. Yolmo Society of America is formed by people of Helembu living in USA. Still confused, come to the party Yolmo Sanjh 2003, everything will b clear |

Birader best I is not know that is why? I is simpal peopal here. I is just wonder what is happen if my Bahun Biraders start some Choondi Samaj for them peopal comin from Choondi. Just a thought! Them I is be busy going to all them Samaaj Parties. Sorry I is not mean to offend no bady but them here is lots of intelligence peopal here that may help I unnerstand. |

This is specially for Rastafariya. I am a member of the Yolmo community here in America. Though I would not like to go into detail regarding Yolmo, but let me enlighten you with a brief introduction. We the people living in the Helambu area of Sindhupalchowk district are knowns as the Yolmo. Our ancestry can be traced back to the people from Kerong region of Tibet, just as the ancestry of the majority people from nepal originated from India. Being a small community, we are not much in the limelight. We have our own culture , language and tradition which is similar to Sherpa and Tamang ethnic group to certain extent. Every year we organise a cultural program here in new york encompassing the rich cultural and ethnic diversities of Nepal. If you happen to be here in new york then, make it a point to be there. Yo Birader ! enigmatic, Thanks you from them informasion. I is not know nothing about them Yolmo. That is them Great thing you is got going. I is wants to go to them Yolmo Party too. I is never know that Majority of peopal Nepali peopal originate in India. I is not know that them things. I is just a simpal peopal. Any other peopal from Nepal have them own culchur Language, Script, Religion? I is very uneducasion peopal in this matter. I is think them it would be really nice to bring everybody in limelight but I guess them Majority is from Indian type peopal in Nepal as you say. |

Broda Rastafaria, Do you mean to say that people who don't fall under the majority or people who don't have their own set of language+religion+script are not worthy of celebrations? I might have misunderstood you, which is not unlikely, so would appreciate your clarification. |
