Saathiharu, I have uploaded a few teej songs in my collection of many. I hope the copyright act does not come in the way. However, I have uploaded it on the yahoogroup that I started and I am able to upload only a few songs. Is there any site where I can upload many songs from my collection for the listening pleasure of a large number on nepali music lovers like myself. I have a very good collection of nepali folk songs .. and a few other songs of other genre also. I need your suggestions. To access the songs go the following location: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/lokgeet/files/ You may need to register yourself if you are do not have a yahoo ID. If you already have a yahoo ID, then you can get membership immediately. |

The link is okay. When you go to the link, you have to enter your yahoo ID and password. Then you need to register for your group membership. Yahoo recently changed their rules which makes it compulsory for anyone to become a member of the group in order for the user to be able to access the files. |

The link is still not working. I have a yahoo id and have registered for a group membership yet doesn't work. Don't know if something is wrong with my PC. |

The yahoogroup policy seems to have changed, my bad. I hadn't uploaded a music file for a long time. So I kinda got rusty. Yes, even I could not play the file when I clicked on the link. HOWEVER When I right-clicked the link and saved the file on my hard disk using the "save target as" option from the drop down menu, I could play the file from the hard disk. Please try it. I am not a computer wiz or anything like that .. so I do not much about computers. Will someone who knows quite a bit about computers please step in and see what the problem is. Dautariji, Great and timely collection of Nepali Lok Geet.... Dont know why I could just download the first song... I was just wondering if it is possible to upload more Lok geet( the old ones can be replaced on timely manner if space is the issue)... Look geet listener like me would be really thankful to you.... |

Matepani Jee, I have a lot of Nepali folk tracks with me. But I am not sure how to put them online. I will surely work it out after talkin to my computer wiz friends. Just a matter of time. |
