Let's take a good look at this boy. What did he do to deserve this? Who will answer to his parents? The loss is irreparable. What a gloomy reality. We are tangled up in rhetorics on what is what and who is who. Political parties are protesting not because this kid is murdered but why the hell king kicked one of them out of the chair they love so much. Maoists wants janabad. But no matter what, Deepak Gurung won't be returning home to sit by his father and talk about khasi in Dashain, tease his mom with his unique smile, and sleep quietly in his bed tucking priceless dreams of his parents with him. What is Janabad to Deepak? what is janabad to us? For whom the janabad rings? [photo: nepalnews.com]

if the current trend doesnt stop, we may have to see many innocents victimized in the days ahead. planting bombs in public places is very irresponsible and cowardice act....

Doesn't seem that the Maoists are actually bothered about Nepal, the only concern they have is POWER. I hope the Maoists movement doesnt turn up to be a similar one like the Peruvian Movement. May Lord Pashupatinath bless Deepak Gurung's soul.

u think the maoist care that a schoolboy was killed?hell no!! they have plenty of kids like deepak gurung whom they have kidnapped from schools, and made them human sheilds while attacking army camps,so that the soldiers think twice when shooting.they are used to seeing kids that age die in the battlefields.to them he is just another "collateral damage " . proves once again that these maoist are no revolutionaries, they are thugs and criminals who have gotten used to living off looting other peoples hard earned money. its a sad thing that the country cannot unite behind the RNA,and help them terminate this evil force once and for all!!!

The blast ripped apart Deepaks face, chest and abdomen. "He was seriously injured and was breathing his last when we found him at the spot of the explosion," says Narayan Datta Paudel, vice principal of Mahendra Rastriya Secondary School. Deepak was rushed to TU Teaching Hospital, but died on the way.
