I have never sent any money through them.. looks like they discontinued their services. I didn't see any links on money transfer. Contact their customer service folks. However, I am surprise there is no information available about the discontinuation of the service. Not professional! Good luck!

i think Munchahouse had partnership with MoneyTonepal.com whose service is powered by Sumit USA. Now Munchahouse doesn't have that service. Now dhukuti.com has that service--I saw there that it is provided by same Summit USA. So if you think you had problem with Muncha--what about with Dhukuti since its powered by same Sumit USA... Just a question. I had used telnepal--it was the cheapest.

Just that I have had good luck with buying phone cards and CDs/VCDs at Dhukuti.com. I hadn't noticed that both systems are provided by Summit USA. In any case, I trust the people at Dhukuti and do you know that DHUKUTI.com is US based and so is Summit USA! I am sure they will provide better service than Munchahouse! At least I am hoping! BB

Western money transfer Union is the best. Fast as hell.

Western Union fees are too expensive. I agree with Bilbo Baggins that both Companies are US based and safe. I'm also fan of Dhukuti.com. Since last 3+ years I guess that I have been using their site for phone cards. It's the only site I saw that's very lively. The most appreciatable thing they do is they continiously bring the best phone card in the market. When Himtel was best in the market, Dhukuti brought provided that card online too. My hats off to Dhukuti people. Way to go guys, keep it up. Please bring latest cds and movies often. I hope we will be able to see more and more service at Dhukuti and grow. Masti

I agree with Masti western union is too expensive. I use thamel.com to send money. I find them very professional. I wasn't sure of them so first so I had my brother in KTM visit their office and was highly recommended to me. I think poor muncha is getting a bad rap here. Psychodreamer, If I were you I would contact Summit Services or moneytonepal.com They were the ones providing service jointly with Muncha. Legally Summit should be liable to justyfy you. So call them I am sure they will help you. However I am surprise there was no news on the cancellation of service. However, make your own judgements. They had partnership with muncha which seems like it was short lived and now they are with Dhukuti. So who knows how long their relationship is going to last? You don't want your personal information floating between one company to another..I personally would be concerned in these types of cases where one day you have service and next day "ata na pata" As a Nepali we should give the Nepali entreprenuers an opportunity to do business but they must show us the professionalism we deserve as a customer. Pravin, I switch around Netfornepal, muncha and thamel.com to send gifts. I have found all of them professional in their dealings. The rates are not that bad. I guess when they know that we are making money in dollar, their margins are little bit high..which is fine by me. Its definitely good to have these choices.

I have sent money through MoneyToNepal.Com for over a year now. I send money every paycheck (twice a month) for my brothers and I have NEVER have had any problem with them. SummitUSA is a US company and looks like they just couldn't handle a relationship with an offshore company. SummitUSA even has insurance if something happens with your funds etc. They have a real nice office in Durbar Marg which i visited cuz i just got back from Nepal. The staff in Nepal even told me about their relationship with many other sites. They are the main service provider and no matter who their affiliate is, DHUKUTI or Muncha, their system is secure. They DO NOT share their data with any other site, that is why a user like us has to re-register with them. They give a free coke and stuff to our recepient in Nepal which is real nice. the Service is just Awesome. I think it is kinda like Western Union has relationship with Safeway and many other little companies... companies just sign up to get an affiliate so they can make some bucks. but the real provider is one company. I don't want to sound like a sales man of SummitUSA, but i have tried both Thamel money tranfer and SummitUSA (MoneyToNepal.Com) and according to my honest experience, they are VERY reliable and professional. they are the ONLY company that have money transfer service dedicated to Nepal, so go figure.. they don't do gift or anything else, but they focus only on money transfer... no wonder i get real good service from them.
