Damn, I am impressed this time. Looks like our standards have gone up. Prerana Shah is 5'10". Dayyum. Kalpana Siwakoti isn't short either, as 5'5" tall women have entered miss world/miss universe competition in the past, although taller, long legged women like Kalpana and Ramani have a greater chance of winning. I tell ya, only by height and face alone, these three leave others biting the dust. I am truly truly impressed by these three gals I named. But looks like we still suck in the photography department. Who took all those lousy shots? |

The photos are good enough... did you check your adapter setting? Some have used extra powder for the loseup, though... probably new ones to dainting painting. Those tall girls lack the charisma,man ... your taste sucks .. no offense. |

So, you'd rather that one of them munchikins won the competition. That's because you don't know much about the standards of beauty abroad. Sure, if you wanna live in your boxed up world, then go ahead. But try seeing the big picture. It's about winning INTERNATIONAL events. That Shrestha girl, who won Miss world university competition(or whatever the competition was) was a midget by any standards, except by EAST ASIAN standards, who are dwarves themselves. Now, if the three I mentioned don't win this competition, I must say, there is a paucity of professionals who deal in the area of modelling. Height and body matters more than one's facial. No wonder that bitch ho Punjabi skank(oh god, I forgot her name, she's mixed with European, but looks totally Indian, and got crooked oogly teeth) won The Miss Universe competition a few years ago. There's that Manandhar gal who's 5'6" tall. I prefer that she be PRONOUNCED the winner, if the three I mentioned aren't selected, although she does look like someone hit her with an oogly stick and got beaten real badly. All in all, it's about body and mug. Not some cutesy lil paedomorphic face. And no, the pics aren't of professional quality. Anybody with a $10 disposable Kodak camera can take better pictures than those up there. I swear. |

No offence to anybody !!! Can't agree less with Boston_dude !!! HMmmmm ??? ?? But after some thought I guess "beauty is only skin deep". From the first glance, it is no doubt that Miss Rai stands out among the other particpant.She is very beautiful indeed and looks very sophisticated too.The other beauties seems to stand no chance at all. But of course we must not forget that in a beauty contest there are many hurdels or tests that one has to go through to win.So being beautiful does not qualify one to win the title; she has to have a brain and etc.. No way, if she wins, it's highway robbery. She's only 5'4" tall. She stands no chance in international arenas. You gotta be tall if you wanna bag some of em highly coveted international modeling competitions. I want either Ramani Joshi(height 5'8") or Prerana Shah(whoa, 5'10") to win this competition. Ramani Joshi is prettier than Prerana. See, this is where I see lack of professional photography. While Prerana's is a mugshot(you could even find pics like these in police files, lol), Ramani's isn't. How about using the same modeling posture for all prospective Miss Nepals huh? That's what Miss World/Miss Universe competitions do. Also, however, I notice that Prerana Shah is actually thinner than Ramani Joshi, comparing their weight. Now I'm wondering who would really be more suitable to win this competition. |
