What can one bring in to nepal
what are dutiable items
what can one expect from the customs Karmacharis
I appreiate if anyone has any info, or a website I can visit, or would want to share their experiences.

Laptops, camcorder, camera, any amount of $$$, gold, TV 14", ...etc
What u want to take there? These stuffs u dont have to declare except dollars.....

I am not planning to take a tv or camera or anything but a camcorder which i can declare , get it stamped on my passport and bring it back. but i wanted to know what other things they like to scrutinize, for example new clothes, toys, and jewlery , etc.. ( no , no intentions of bringing any drugs or arms or ammunitions, Yeuta banduk ta lagnu parne ho..aba bajeko palako dui nale bharuwa le chalaune bichar cha )

you dont have to declare camcorder, new clothes, toys, jewels (unless they r in huge amount)....write me if you have anyother specifics...
