Govt. of Nepal Bans Nepalese to ride bicycles The Sajha Post September 18, 2003. Kathmandu, Nepal: The Government of Nepal has imposed new restrictions regarding forms of travel to be used by the citizens of Nepal. Barely a few days since the ban on pillion riding on motorbikes, the government has issues strict warning to Nepali Citizens living OUTSIDE OF NEPAL to ride bicycles. This comes after a gruelling episodes of bhandafod of the world reknown bicyclist whose name is withheld for reasons unknown. "The accused has mixed the name of Nepal with black mud." said Minister of Communication Shreeman Raati Raati Chori ma Bahadur Cyclewala. He further added that "Any patriotic Nepali should give up riding bicycles as a penance to what the Kukhyaat Bicyclist has done. Because of his antics, nowadays when the words Nepal and Bicycle meet, it forms a very explosive situation in many parts of the world. So in order to not create such potentially dangerous reminder of the past, law abiding Nepali Citizens living abroad are kindly reminded to henceforth, NOT ride on bicycles, period." At the time of this reporting the Interpol dogs have sniffed his trace in Quito, Equador. The interpol has reported that his traces and bicycle tracks disappeared in the middle of a highway.
