I thank all my Somerville attackers for their various attacks. Being an optimist, I enjoyed your attacks, learnt much from them, and, thanks to you, I have grown even stronger on many levels. . . This is all good because I know that to bring about positive small and large changes in Nepal in one's one way, one has to be ready to fight many battles ahead, and I take this all as one one small training round. I am also aware that my posting re: Dipendra's probable "amygdala hijacking" was PREDICTABLY taken too personally by one of you (you know who you are!) . . . and started this all. Hopefully, I have, a la Indian snake-charmers, gotten much of your venom/poison out. If not, hey, there's always another round somewhere . . . after all, a few key phrases here and there and I think I can soon whip you all into a frenzy, making you go absolutely ballistic and getting all the predictable responses :-) Snake-charming, indeed. Still, that NONE of you want to reveal your names in PUBLIC so as to really stand behind your charges/accusations makes anyone conclude that you yourselves do NOT believe your own accusations, and do not want to be seen using your good name to be spreading lies against me or anyone else. After all, you well know that the truth is easy to defend; lies are, well, lies -- safely tossed from afar under false names. I hope your attacks and my even-tone responses also give you an appreciation for OPEN, DEMOCRATIC societies -- societies that are NOT controlled by your beer-drinking buddies, and societies where it's much harder for you make innocent people emotionally gang up against someone you amy not agree with. Finally, it's all right if you want to being up some '86 xavirian' name to bash me more. (On another note, I am delighted to hear that that the VOLUNTEER-based egroup is dead . . . without an open/democratic, ideas-matter culture no one can attract talented contributors . . . and that gives me an incentive to start my own STX-86 egroup based on trust, open-ness and democracy . . . I know I can get a number of classmates behind me in no time, driving the present moderator mad.) FYI, I remain perfectly happy and satisfied with my continuing friendships with a number of STX classmates who are now in places as diverse as Kathmandu, Australia, California, England and even (bet you didn't know this!) Russia. Finally, as Hitler might have told a Jewish man, "Hey, idiot, grow up. I have to attack you because everyone is against you." As statisticans tell is, that universe of "everyone" may not mean the same to all. :-) oohi ashu
