3 Nepalese soccer players go missing in S Korea AP[ SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 28, 2003 12:43:49 PM ] SEOUL: Police are searching for three Nepalese soccer players who disappeared while visiting South Korea for Asian Cup qualifying matches, a local news agency reported on Sunday. The three players went missing after their team played against Vietnam on Saturday at the World Cup Stadium at Incheon, a port city west of Seoul. Nepal lost the game to Vietnam 5-0. An official at the Korea Football Association reported the missing players to the police after a routine check on Sunday morning, Yonhap news agency reported. The missing players have been identified as Deepak Lama, Narayan Manandhar and Sukra Man Tamang. Police officials were not immediately available for comment. Despite the incident, the game between Nepal and South Korea will take place on Monday as scheduled. The Nepalese team arrived in South Korea on Tuesday for the Group E Asian Cup qualifiers.
