Dear Friends:
I wanted to take this opportunity to thank all of you for your support of my candidacy during the
recent ANA elections.
I have spoken with many of you on the telephone and also had the
opportunity to meet you in person at the Convention in Philadelphia. Your show of support and
confidence has greatly encouraged me to stay active and serve our community through ANA in the
best possible way I can.
Although the election results were not in my favor, I have made lasting friendships with many of
you, which I will treasure forever.
I also have learned a great deal from this experience that there is much more interest among new generation Nepali immigrants to preserve and promote our cultural
heritage, traditions, and values. With your support, I will continue to push ANA to move towards
the right direction. We simply cannot let the Association go backwards. I will remain engaged in
various activities, if and when there is room and opportunity within ANA.
