Nepali girl raped, killed in Nainitaal

A six-year-old Nepali girl was killed after being raped by four men in Nainitaal, India, a Kathmandu-based broadsheet reported Sunday, quoting Indian media agencies.

"The body of Sushma Bista, daughter of Arjun Singh Bista, a Nepali labourer working in Raj Mahal Hotel was found in a sack in front of her residence in Nainitaal," The Himalayan Times reported.

Four Indian nationals - Babu of Aligarh, Aamir of Bilaspur, Pawan of Mukteshwor, Nainitaal and Arjun of Bengal Colony Khatima - allegedly raped and killed Sushma, the news report said.

The Indian police arrested all the four accused on Thursday night when Sushma's parents informed the police.

When the crime came into light, the local residents of Nainitaal had cordoned off the local police demanding legal action against the rapists and deputy inspector general of Nainitaal police, according to the report. nepalnews.com mr Sept 28

Bastard indian. After all the innocents Nepali women forced to be prostitute in Red Light district all over their country, they seems to have no pity on a little girl. No wonder, Nepali hates Indians
mickthesick Posted on 28-Sep-03 03:55 PM

this incident has nothing to do with being Nepali or being Indian......stop making such biased comments my friend.

those four people who raped the little girl should be called "criminals" . they were people whose mind was occupied by demonous thoughts...that's all. and that's why they commited the crime.

this has nothing to do with their nationality....stop saying that indians raped her.

isn't that the same like saying "muslims bombed the world trade center"??.....those were definitely muslims but they were "terrorists".....and hence saying that muslims did that would be unjust to the rest of the muslim community...

let's stop making stereotypic comments.

may the victim's family be in peace.

i haven't read anywhere about 4 americans raping a 6- year- old nepali girl to death recently. I haven't read anywhere about 4 nepali physcos raping a 6 year old nepali girl to death. I haven't read anywhere lately about , 4- canadians , or japanese or korains raping a 6 -yr -old nepali girl to death.
I have, however, read a lot about indians kidnapping innocent girls from villages to put them on brothels. I have read about indians "dalaals" luring Nepali village girls about jobs and better life and selling them to brothels for money. guess, these still do not give me enough justifications to be prejudical towards indians , eh? hmmmmm

Although i agree on not being steriotypical and having prejudical ideas about the entire mass cuz of the few example, it becomes the matter of concern when the examples are large. I wonder how not being predudical and steriotyping ( which i call western hypocracism (sp??)) would work in a third wold scenerio like in Nepal and India.

I should've said, "4-sick indians" rather than saying "sick indians." techanicality- techanicality, sorry -sorry.... uhhmmmmmmmm.

I am with Mickthesick .

Devils who commit such horrible crimes exists in every community .No Racial profiling required in here .
wasn't it the same people from nainitaal who cordoned off the local police station for legal charges against the criminals ?

Sankaa says :I have, however, read a lot about indians kidnapping innocent girls from villages to put them on brothels. I have read about indians "dalaals" luring Nepali village girls about jobs and better life and selling them to brothels for money.

Sankaa ji ,
Are you saying that Indian people come to Nepali villages and pick girls ,take them to India and make them do kancho mashu ko byaapaar ???If thats true and common then they dont need to hire dalaals in the first place .

Those so called Indian's "dalaals" who lure nepali vilage girls about jobs better life and sell them to brothels for money are none other than our fellow nepali brothers . Lets accept it .Once a college graduate from Padma Kanya Campus was sold to bombay brothel too {Dhristi patrika has its detail }.

Most Nepali girls are cheated upon by thier own relatives ,cousins and some cases own blood brother and own husband and sold to Mumbai .Why are we blaming Indians here ?

Sankaa ji ,if you, Mick ,Bob Marley and i were struggling nepali girls and if our close relatives offered us bogus descent jobs ,handsome salary and good future in bright lights on bombay ,we would have gladly accepted ,gone to bombay and would be doing Dhandaa ,sleeping with atleast 10 kalo kalo Indian Randaa per day .

1.No need to blame Indians here as the main culprits are our relatives, husband and brothers
2.No need to blame nepali girls for being stupid ,dumb and easily cheated otherwise why would a college graduate from padma kanya campus got sold ?
3.those relatives ,brothers and husbands and cousins are the main sinner .they should be hanged

Right, but if your precious Hindustanis were so moral, they wouldn't be accepting Nepali prostitutes in the first place, most of whom haven't even come of age. Everybody knows this fact, and so do Indian whorehouses. It's a fact that Indians like Nepali women because we are fairer skinned. I don't even have to mention that they also like them young. Do they have rules against pedophilia in Hindustan? I doubt it. Dhoti cops don't do anything about it because they chicken out.
So, don't just exonerate these dhoti bastards only because they're your ilk.

This particular incidence was reported in a media and it drew our attention. Similar atrocities on Nepalese in India occur over hundred a day. They go unreported and in many instances un pursued. The reason Nepalese have a second grade citizen life in India is because of unity and backing of their comunity in India and Nepal. It is good in one sense that like Bangladeshi's our fellows are not under threat of deportation and legal extortion. However, unseen they suffer, for they take it as their destiny to be born a poor Nepali, abused and manipulated by everyone, for they know they have no one to turn.
If any of you would like to have a first hand experience of what it takes to be a Nepali in India, then I recomend the trip to Dimapur by bus. You will see how Nepalis get treated and extorted by corrupt officials, cops and even dalals who have the same blood as the one suffering.
It is high time rather then bassing India, we see where our weakness lies. It lies in our lack of unity and a strong voice.
Can some of you in Kathmandu go to protest this incidence in Indian Embasy, will we outside the nation spare few dime so that our sisters don,t need to go to satisfy the lust of their buyers. I guess, we don,t have time, money and above all feelings to share the problem of our people.
Let us unite at this level to show our solidarity to the cause of our fellow citizens, where ever they are by posting a united voice. We can do it, we can protest and if necessary support the cause by backing it.

Just a question... Why is prostitution bad or wrong? After all, its the oldest occupation.

Let me know if you have any views on this matter.

Vincent , I think forcing girls to live in a cage like brothels and making them sleep with 20-40 horny sick bastards a day and kicking them to nepal when they get aids is bad. don't you?
VincentBodega Posted on 29-Sep-03 07:42 PM

Yeah true,
thats a totally different scenario you are referring to.
I will ask you a question and I will let you answer the question for both of us...

If you leave your wallet out in the dark corner of a street and someone jacks it, maxes your credit card and sends the bills to you.
Who do you blame?

=================================

My Hindustanis ???Your arrogant ,jingoistic and baseless remarks forced you to post a out of context posting. Please refrain from doing that again nahin to mujhe bura kohi nahi hoga .Now ,dont point the finger at the morality of Hindustanis ,before that try to find out where does the morality of our fellow brothers who sell cheli betis to Mumbai lies .VincentBodega says prostitution is the oldest trade in the world .If all people had morals ,this question wouldn't have arised in the first place again .And dont worry about the chelis sold in Mumbai market who have not come of age . For example if you were running vegetable market ,would you accept baashi vegetables from the wholeseller ?Some like it ripe some like it raw honey ,thats the rule of every trade around the globe .
Having done enough research on the matter myself I dont think indians like nepali girl just because of thier fairer skin .Anyway ,who supplies Fair & Lovely lotion to Nepali Market ?Have you realised why the majority of Nepali girls sold to Mumbai are from mongolian origin ?thats because they like girls from mongolian origin .

I am just telling you what is truth .I dont think I am exonerating dhotis and I am not thier ilk .This is baseless ,senseless ,tasteless out of conext vicious remarks that does NOT do good to any other people reading this thread . How would you feel if I blankly said those girls who do 50 grams raw meat deal everyday in Mumbai are your ilk ?

KaleKrishna Posted on 30-Sep-03 12:43 AM

Please brothers abstain from dragging the poor chelis in your personal duet.
One thing is true, the situation is there, some are tricked, others are convienced, some make it big, taking it as their fate, others rot.
The question is not who is to blame, because if we are to honestly look for the answer we know we are responsible to a certain extent.
Thge question here is are we ready to lend our support to the cause as being undertaken by certain agencies like Maiti Nepal and others. Do we have moral obligation to contribute to the cause of our less previeledged countryman. Are we to shed few tears for the doggy deaths that our brothers and sisters meet in pursuit of their dreams in a birano desh. Time demands answers from us, is there something we can do?, how?

Doggy deaths in alien lands

HITESH KARKI

- As I was returning home from office on a taxi one evening, Harka Man Awale (as displayed on the ID on the dash board) told me, \"Sir, I have to go to Saudi Arabia. If I could just manage myself three to four years out there, I dont think I will ever have to worry. What to do sir, I wonder if this country will ever bounce back.\"\"What will you do there? I asked.
\"Cmon sir, all I know is drivery, if only they select me for the dozer driver quota, Jai Pashupatinath! and touched the feet of Lord Shivas little statue on his dash board.

The story ends here. By this time I had already reached my destination and hence there was no scope of continuing the dialogue any further.

As soon as I had finished my meal, I received one of the most distressing calls ever on the telephone. A feeble voice on a hushed tone said, \"Can I talk to Hiteshji?\"

\"Speaking,\" I replied.

Hiteshji , theres a very bad news. Ajay died a couple of days ago. At present I cant say much because there are spies of the company hovering all around. We are constantly under watch and have been severely warned not to talk about it with anyone. Will talk to you when I reach there.\"

Before I could ask about how and when of his death the phone hung up.

For a moment I lay on my sofa benumbed. \"What should I do now?\" The question began eating my brain.

Ajay too left the nation two years back, quitting his well-established job of a teacher. Before he left, just like the cabbie I had met a little earlier, he too was frustrated by the money he was making here.

A month later I met the same guy who had called me. In the meantime, we had done everything we could to know about the whereabouts of our friend, supposedly dead as told on the phone. The first place to approach was the manpower agent.

From them came the blunt reply, \"No, we have not received such notice.\"

Days passed by and in a typical Nepali custom, we were told to come \"tomorrow\". Many tomorrows passed by, but nothing came up. Completely fed up with their indifferent attitude, we decided to take the matter to the authority concerned. Files started flying (should I be saying \"crawling\"?) from one table to another only to be told, \"We will certainly help you out, thats why we are here. But first you have to get the confirmation of your friends death from the manpower agency.\"

Things were suddenly back to square one, all efforts down the drain.

Remittance has been the buzzword ever since the economy was stricken by paralysis. Had it been not for them, our economy would have gone down crashing way back, so we are told.

We finally managed to get the dead body, thanks to the pressure applied by some of the whos who of the department of external affairs through \"source and force. \"

Ajay was back home and cremated. (How he died is still a mystery)

The question remains, how many Nepali bodies must be lying in the deserts of Dubai and other gulf areas or \"the caged workers in Malaysia\", and their family members cannot venture no further than the gates of the Shital Niwas.

They provide a vital support to our economy and in return we give them, as a popular Indian adage says, \"Kutte ki maut,\"--a

doggy death!

garibmaila Posted on 30-Sep-03 02:34 AM

yeah we should better call them "the four sick indians" rather than just generalizing it and calling every indian sick!
i am more concerned about India raping Nepal!! it has been going on since 1950! does anyone see this? or u think this is just a sex with consent?
sankaa Posted on 30-Sep-03 10:51 AM

If you leave your wallet out in the dark corner of a street and someone jacks it, maxes your credit card and sends the bills to you.
Who do you blame?
-----> I would blame
1) to that "someone" for using someone's else credit card.
2) to myself for being careless
3) to the seller who did not care to match signarure on back of my card to sell stuff to the criminal.
4) Credit card companies: for not putting photo Id , or special authentication tool to identify the correct customer, it has been an issue that they actually are doing this for a reason.
So, there , #1 to the guy who uses my credit card. He should
ve been a good citizen and return it back to me or at least not use it.
What's your point?

VincentBodega Posted on 30-Sep-03 12:30 PM

Saankaji,
You blame the person who used your CC? Which time and age do you live in?

Nevermind about this logic. I dont think I will be explain what I was trying to with this, if its the person who used it you gonna blame for not being a "good" citizen.
