Five of the same family murdered KOL Report KATHAMNDU, Oct 4 - Five members of the same family have been murdered in Kathmandu Valley. Police said the five were hacked to death late yesterday night at their own home in the suburbs of Lalitpur district and they believe it was a case of burglary. However, it is still not clear who carried out the attack. The bodies of Hiralal Nagarkoti, his wife and three children were discovered on Saturday. They had apparently been hacked with a Khukuri. Police say they have also recovered Rs. 14,000 and a wallet from the garden outside the house but were still without a lead. Police have not made any arrests so far nor have they found the weapon used in the murder. (rk)

For a change, can you blame this to the Maoists instead of analysing the incapabilities within the law enforcement of Nepal? The bigger picture here is the maoists killing the people, not about the cops. No doubt the latter haven't performed any applaud worthy job, but please, identify your primary enemy: The Maoists.

Biruwa, I was very much shocked to read this news. It is so horrible, so monstrous, and it is important that all security apparatus come together to punish the guilty. This guilty is a monster, a serial killer probably, and to catch such a demented soul is very important.
