Bhuchhey was sharp , brilliant and always sparkling. First few months in US were haydays in his life. He joined almost every small club and organization in college. Handigawo ko jatra ko experience ko bhar lay homecoming parade ma participate garyo. He even became the homecoming king without having a clue about what homecoming is. "Jaand lay tilla bhaye si sabai jatra woostai ho", Bhuchhey revealed his jatra experience of his teen days. Summer ko block party ra winter ko house party lay Bhucchey ko bhundee ma Miller-pack ko chamatkaar dekhiyo. Inspite of all these, Bhuchhey was missing something. He had a passion for having a true American girlfriend, a pure white blonde. I do not know why but almost every proposal he put forward seemed to go useless. He made several futile attempts with almost every blonde he could possibly approach but none of his plans worked. He joined the chess club full of nerds. They would care less about the girls rather than to watch the next move of pawn. Bhucchey lay mantri ladawunthyo surumai..game sakkayera date janey aas ma. Bhucheey tried almost everything, uski GF bhetiyena kaipani. Everytime, he approached new girls, he used to come to us to tell the story. Despite the interesting twist and turns, we knew that it would not work. However, we used to listen to him passionately.

Khai ke bho ke bho..4/5 maina samma Bhucchey bepatta bho. Class ma ni aakkal jhukkal dekhinthyo. Bhucchey ko sangat ali beglai dekhinthyo. Nevertheless, it was quite visible that he was still single. Nobody knew where Bhucchey went during winter break. Uttey guessed that he might have gone to his brother's place in LittleRock, Arkansas but it was just a guess. Right before the school start in January, I got a surprising card in my mailbox. Lisa Thompson and Bhucchey were going to get married on Jan 21st. I was shocked and little dismayed too. Suddenly, the phone rang. It was Uttey. "Card paies Bhucchey ko?", he uttered. "Yo ko Lisa?", I asked Uttey. "Kunni, hijo rati 2 bajey samma ma tun kai basira haina, malai kasari tha huncha?, Uttey made me speechless. I started imagining every girl Bhuchhey used to hang around with but I could not come up with any solid figure neither did Uttey. We had no means to contact Bhucchey excpet for the address he indicated in that wedding card. "Malai ta paila dekhi nai sanka laagi ra thyo ek jana sanga chai", Uttey tried to make a concluding remark. I felt irritated. "Chhaddey aba dherrai, bya ma ek choti jani tyatti ho aba Bhucchey sanga", I told Uttey. Uttey lay mawun samarthan janayo munto hallayera.

Jan 21st ni aayo..Man nalagi nalagi Bhucchey ko party ma gaiyo address ko bhar ma Ghar khojdai. "Nepal ma bha bhey po subha-bibaha ko tool khojnu..hya ta tyo ni hunna, kallai sodhni ho?", Uttey exploded out of frustration making a wrong U -turn in one of the intersection. Finally, we arrived in the designated spot. From distant, I could see Bhucchey with a lady dressed in white outfits and my specualtion about Lisa was immediately foiled with Uttey's little remark.."Lisa ta chwaankai raichhey ni". As we approached near, Uttey lay namaskar garyo Lisa lai. I pretended as if I did not see him doing that. I noticed Bhucchey somewhat bewildered eventhough he was trying hard to maintain his posture in that crowd. In the mean time, Lisa introduced her friends and family members to us. Her dad's ex-girlfriend came with her fiance. Mike, Lisa's half brother drove all the way down from Baton Rouge, Louisiana just to attend her wedding. Really, everybody from Lisa's hometown with population 80 was there. To me, it looked like we were going to watch a yearly rhodeo there..Cowboy town VS. Bhucchey. "Paara ta lyayo ni yuaslay", Uttey lay bistarrai mero kaan ma khokyo but I did not understand what he was trying to say. Instead, I focused more into Bhucchey. He was not looking bad in that black tuxedo.

After the exchange of formal delicacy, we were routed to the ballroom where the dinner was going to take place. Uttey and I managed to get a table to make ourselves comfortable. As a part of relevant talk, we discussed how he managed to throw such a lavish party. "CC ghotya hola ni", Uttey seemed logical while talking about the financial part of the wedding. I simply nodded like I meant to say 'Tyastai hunuparcha kyai'.
"Bujhies! augina mailey tyo Lisa lai jhandai namaskar garya jhukkiyera", Uttey lay wokalyo wine ghootkayesi. I chuckled as if I did not notice him before. Uttey was saying something about Lisa but I did not pay discrete attention as I was thinking of their afterlife. "Aarko semester haapni chhaant lyayo Bhuchhey lay", I exploded without
control and even Phittu Uttey heard me clearly. "Aba kina padhna paryo ta tyaslai?", that was the first time I ever felt Uttey's logic so convincing. "Ho ta ni, aba kina padhnu paryo ta tyaslai?", I made it more logical with redundant remark. But again, I was simultaneously thinking how Bhucchey's life would change after marriage. Haami M*** bhaney ja ko tyai...

Suddenly, I was startled by ting-ting-ting. Uttey lay malai Bhucchey patti ishara garyo. Lisa ra Bhuchhey ka ooath jodiney bela bha raicha. I remembered watching 'Mohabbanteyn in Ranjana. Uttey finished another glass of wine. I could not notice whether it was wine or just the scene, Uttey looked pale and caustic to me. Amilo nichorya jasto mookh laayo ekkai chhin ta. Pheri ting-ting....Yo pala Bhucchey lay ali badhtai garyo. Uttey lay ni ghwappa ladayo tyai ratio ma. I do not remember anything afterwards coz I had to take an extra care of Uttey. "Bujhies mero bya ma ta tunlai bestman banawuchu..auni ewuta tuxedo...lazza sittaima tunlai..Ke samjhya cha Bhucchey lay haamlai?", Uttey lay ghar ayepachi gumsiyeko rees pokhyo barbarwaundai.

After three years, I met Bhucchey and family in nearby mall. "Baddhai cha..naam ke rakhies ta chhoro ko?", I asked in curiosity. "Sankar", Bhucchey lay kniccha hansera bhanyo. "Shyankar!! common honey..you don wanna do that", I immediately heard Lisa running after the frolicking boy.

Yeah..and I kept watching Shyankar running.
