The so-called intellectuals of our country are the most uncaring, pathetic hypocrites. On the one hand they are TOTALLY against the government using the well-trained army to quell the Maoist rebellion, because they are very concerned about innocent people's lives. On the other hand, they just sit back and watch Baburam Bhattarai's cohorts massacre innocent policemen in their scores. These scoundrels do not utter a word against the terrorists.
I have a feeling that Baburam has scared the shit out of them and all they ever want is to be in his good book if (ever) he manages to establish his dictatorship. They pretend to be concerned about human rights and freedom and are against the Public Security Act. But they don't give a damn when Maoists go on a killing rampage, making widow of innocent women and orphans of innocent children. These bunch of uncaring rascals should be ashamed of themselves.
