Nepals tallest person Rajan Adhikari, 73 has been hospitalized in Biratnagar following severe pain in his left ankle, reports said Sunday.Adhikari, owing to his impoverished condition, has urged the hospital administration (Zonal Hospital) and others to foot the bill for his treatment. People have been thronging the hospital area to see the extra-ordinarily tall Adhikari since he was hospitalized on Tuesday, Gorkhapatra daily said.
We have decided to provide free treatment to Nepals tallest Adhikari, said Rameshwor Lal Karuwa, medical superintendent and chief of the hospital. Adhikari has already undergone a major surgery, free of cost, on his head.
