Innocent until proven guilty they say.... In anycase, I am in a very serious dilemma about this case in lot of ways. First of all, being a DEVOUT lakers fan, it would be very sad him not being part of the Lakers dreamteam this season. Following Kobe and Lakers for the past 8 years or so, yes, it would be very hard not to see him play, the things he does in court, his charisma, the magic he brings, the excitement he stimulates, and most of us all, anti lakers fans making a mockery in sajha ;) ;). However, Crime is a crime and there's no exception to it. Even if he's not entirely guilty, I am afraid that the tables have turned around for him. The reverbation of O.J. case, will come to haunt him in some ways. Many people still feel the injustice and mockery O.J simpson case made of national justice system when it looked like a clear cut case. If Kobe is acquitted, (i hope he will be if he's really innocent), I fear things won't stop there; ppl will stop having faith in the justice system, and rich and famous getting away with crimes will further be notorious. PHEW!! now just because someone apologizes or accepts what he does, doesn't make him a good person does it? but he's still my role model in terms of sports, NOT CRIME.........so there I stay in the middle line! LET JUSTICE PREVAIL!

Hi folks, i should speak up as a common people but not as a LAKERS FAN right? I have two thoughts on KOBE's Case one as Kobe as my Fav Sports Person and the other as being a common citizen. Lets start with being a Common Citizen... Kobe did a press conference and let the world know he did make mistake by doing adultery. And did cry infront of camera which we all did see but by making an acceptance in the Media Line, does this prove he is a not guilty? , though that was a consensual sex. According to his statement on consensual sex, i think he should be punished for cheating at his wife. Being a celebrity does not mean, there is no LAW for them, as a matter of fact, OJ's case almost proved that but this time it might get turned around. SO the bottom line is Guilty should be Pusished. Rest is on the Hand of State of Colorado, which is suppose to be the most aggresive in the case of RAPE. Now, as a Lakers FAN and KOBE being the ideal sports Person. A young energetic sports man who is sometimes compared with MJ, did had sex with a BITCH(just my thougt) who had three men in three days claims she was raped in the contarty she agrees to have some kisses and foreplays. When the act of sex got involved according to the victim(for now) says she disagreed with the act but there was no screem and says she said "no" twice while she was being raped. She even said, she almost choked when she was grabbed on her neck, but later no finger marks were found. I dont want to go back to that bitch's past life, for now, what she is doing is a play to make KOBE out of the game of Basketball. Also being his fan, i say, If KOBE really did rape her, he should be punished and what we can do for now is wait till spring 2004 by which i presume we will get the fair and balanced result out of this trial. No offence to anybody.. NepaliThito
