Hi All,
It is really great to know that Public Library of Science (PLOS) has started to a real start to make Scientific Information free to all. Big publishing companies are making a lot of $$$ by charging readers. If it works, it will make these companies to reduce charge or to make all free.

Eventually, it should help third world countries to keep up cutting edge science. What do you think?

Himal NY ji,
Thanks for the information. Indeed, such gestures will undoubtedly help third world countries broaden their repertoire of scientific knowlege as you point out. The old adage "knowledge is power," has transformed today to "science is power" (or as my father used to bicker with me, "math is power! math ma kamjor hunu hudaina hai! ;) ) easy access to information on the "power" of the new age (with science topping the list) is certainly welcome news.

In peace.
