Crown Prince Paras and Crown Princess Himani have been blessed with their second daughter, a Royal Palace announcement received by Nepalnews said.

She was born at 8:33:55 Thursday evening at the Narayanhiti Royal Palace through cesarean section, the Radio said quoting a Palace announcement.

The King has conferred the title of " Sri Panch Yubarajkumari " on the newborn princess. The Princess and child are doing well, the Palace said. The child weighs 2.85 kgs, the Palace said. The royal couple have two daughters and one son, who is second in line of succession to the throne.

A visitors' book will be placed at the main gate of the Palace for three days from 11 am to 5 pm from Friday for well-wishers to offer their best wishes, the Palace said. nepalnews.com br Oct.16

how come Nepali Crown Prince and Prnicess get blessed with kid in every six month?
thaag Posted on 16-Oct-03 12:54 PM

Family tree got too narrow after Royal killings...........Probably they are trying to spread their roots....(ie. Santan le danda kanda dhakun......)
dautari Posted on 16-Oct-03 12:56 PM

Callguy1 ... what do you mean every six months? Prince Hridayendra is more than one year old remember?
Chordaku420 Posted on 16-Oct-03 01:28 PM

I DO NOT GIVE A DAMN.
john doe Posted on 16-Oct-03 01:31 PM

Will someone please educate our dear Prince Paras on the virtues of using a condom? I just feel sorry for the wife, who apparently has succumbed to royal pressure and accepted the role that they have designed for her - that of a baby-making machine!
KaleKrishna Posted on 16-Oct-03 06:16 PM

They should led by example and stop right here. Nepal's population is increasing by leap and bounds and if the royal family do not adopt family planning, why would other convience themselves. So for the sake of the crown princess and the populace the crown prince should not go beyond these three.
Anyway, congrats to the successful couples and the nation for the birth of the young rajkumari who let us hope is incarnation of Laxmi in this case starved nation and Saraswati in this Bhudi Bhuteyeko Desh.
Bhunte Posted on 16-Oct-03 06:40 PM

Reading it initially i thought it is a joke like "Biswo's first ever build made in Nepal bridge in Kathmandu". Now I read nepalnews.com and the news is real. I thought Princess Himani had a son just some months ago. One year lapsed already??
dautari Posted on 16-Oct-03 08:36 PM

Yes, Bhunte dai, Nava Yubaraj Hridayendra was born July 30, 2002. A little over 14 months back.

DUh !!!! Prince Paras le kaam payena jasto cha!! Why in god's name is he busy in the production of kids.. doesn't he know about family planning or what???
How about doing something productive, for the country, for a change??? Guess Crown Princess Himani would welcome this change whole heartedly!!!!
