While the season of chrismas was in sight in 1974, I was with Suzy and driving around a Kingswood Statesman and going to Soaltee Hotel. However, I had problem with the Statesman as it was sizzling with steam and whisling and it stopped. By then Suzy was truely shitty near Soaltee. I had to fix the Statesman on the spot, so I went looking for Shyam Shakya the mechanic near Kalimati. Thank God ! Shyam was there and he came and fixed the Statesman on the spot within seconds and Suzy was surprised and smiled and thanked him. There you had the tuned Stateman was inside Soaltee.

We could not had a sandwich as the panicking Nepalese Police cordoned the area. Soaltee Hospitality Stewards immediately told us that a Professor Heinrich Biantanza was a suspect in the murder of one American lady and another Canadian man. Suzy and I di not know what to do on the spot and situ. You see, my cousin was working for Gorkha Travel's counter at the Soaltee, he has service provided on behalf of Avis car rental to Professor Biantanza and Ajay Chaudhary. The car was full of blood and the driver panicked in seeing this. Prabhakar SJB Rana was very furious as his Hotel's good name was being dragged in the bad spotlight.

So it seems the Jet Age had come to Nepal in the dying days of Hippy days.

Now I come to learn this guy is none other then Charles Sobraj Gurumukh also knownas the Serpent and Kathmandu Killer.

It has been a long time to see him in the pictures again...he is old and dying and I am also not better. I wonder what happened to Suzy, who was my soulmate ?
