The pictures of gory carcasses dragged from the lush glades in
the hills of Lamjung etc has been splashed all over the newspapers
again. Rising above the bodybags of those pauper policemen, Comrade Prachanda sang the paeans of his ragtag army, and conspicuously,this time, stopped repeating the charade of
invitation for dialogue.Victors, not necessarily, repeats the same
mantra!
PM Girija, in his immutable mathematical devotion, is counting
the number of MPs he has tenaciously kept in his porous bag of
fealty, occasional leakage of few loyal supporters from which
has not been able to shift the balance in the favor of anyone
else. In his number game, PM Girija is playing fouls, and pulling
nation to brinkmanship of dreaded civil war: all just to win. This

defeat the tyrannious force of Nazis. National consensus is very
important in all national crisis. If number game is everything,
then democracy is tantamount to majority_autocracy.
It is so unique situation in our country. King is not trusted by
even NC, NC is not trusted by UML, UML is not trusted by other
small parties, nobody trusts others. What an ideal Orwellian
world where suspects for homicides range from the deceased son to
his comrades!
