"The police arrested Rijal when he arrived to take delivery of letter heads and membership forms of Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist) from a local press," the news report said.

"Two employees of the printing press including its proprietor were also arrested," PTI quoted Darjeeling Superintendent of police Sanjay Chander, as saying.

"Rijal, who visited Siliguri from Nepal quite often during the last six months used to send threatening letters to different industrialists and businessmen in Nepal using party letter heads, demanding huge amounts ranging from rupees 5 to 10 lakhs," said Rajiv Mishra, additional Superintendent of police, Siliguri.
