"Bhailo" banned Local administration in Kathmandu, Lalitpur and Bhaktapur has banned "bhailo" from Thursday (Oct.23) until coming Monday (Oct.27), the local bodies announced. Monday is bhai tika. The announcement said the ban was slapped for security reasons. In another announcement Wednesday, the Home Ministry also banned firecrackers during tihar. nepalnews.com br Oct.22 ______________________________________________________________________ What is becoming of our counrtry? Does this mean "Deushi" banned also?

I think its a pretty good bargain if you put your safety on the line. I think I can sacrifice a year of deusi and bhailo if that helps our troops make the people of the valley safe during this auspicious festival.

It is not fully banned but only at nights..which means you could still play bhailo and deusi but not at night.. Sounds its good for everyone No more gang fight during deusi night this year...... which also means less money for the bands and the people ...
