If you are about to break up or you broke up with someone, its better to be a stranger than to say " oh we'll be friends for rest of our lives". Trust me, you can move on with your life much easily being a stranger with a person you loved once.

thats why I say..don't fall in love in the first place...so no tension......ki kaso...if you are just friends, you can always be friends...but lovers turned starngers...bato ma dekhda..KKHI..kha kare...ye dil jalta hai...re kya

Simplu, it is because goredai said "...Trust me, you can move on with your life much easily being a stranger with a person you loved once." Goredai is so confident of his assertion which is good enough for us to assume how much pain he might be suffering through. I still don't know what inflicted him. Probably he may want to shed some lights on it.
