Hello!

I was just wondering if anyone (medics or students) has worked in any of the hospitals in australia.. I am a student wanting to do an elective term there. just want to know which hospitals are the best.

hi, i havent worked there. but word is that Concord Hospital and Royal Prince Alfred Hospitals (both in Sydney) are very good. RPAH is the oldest hospital, i believe 150 yrs and concord is a newer facility. I have also read that Concord offers accomodation to foreign students wanting to do elective at a very cheap rate at the hospital. I dont know what you want to do you r elective in. but just in case, the Royal Flying Doctor elective is offlimits to foreign elective students.
hope this helps. i am on a similar boat:)
