Union Cemetery
Easton, CT
North from Route 15 onto Highway 136 to Easton

Union Cemetery is where the legend of the White Lady came from. This particular ghost tends to stick with the police and firefighters. It's origin is unknown, but one Easton police officer reported seeing two red eyes in the dark, around the cemetery. Then, after going home, saw them in his home.
The other part of this legend is one that many people have heard. Supposedly, people have driven around that area only to find a lady in white standing in the middle of the road. Of course, by the time they see her, it's too late. They can't stop or get out of the way. But right when they're about to hit her, she vanishes. That is the legend of Union Cemetery

it goes like this:
once upon a time a boy lived with his old father. They were poor but>>i know this is dumb< One day the father said to his son, "i am going to send you to your aunt's place so you can study well. you know the school is very far away from here."
So the boy left his father, and went to his aunt's house.
The palace was beautifully decorated. with expensive furniture, and exquisite work of art. The boy was lead into a hall, and at the end was a humungus(sp?)room. The floor was covered with a carpet of rich red. There was a huge photo of the queen on a gold wall. And right in the middle of the room was a splendid throne of gole and silver, and there, sitting amongst fluffy silk cushions was the very fair beautiful queen.
"Welcome to my palace dear nephew. I hope you are comfortable here," the queen said.
"take the young master to his room" she addressed the servants.

A week passed. The boy's room was red all over. , a red bed, red bedsheets, red tables, red chairs, red curtains, red lights that turned off auto matically at midnight. It was just the carpet that was golden.

One night, the lights went off, and after a while, the boy suddenly woke up. He felt a cold hand feeling down his body. He was completely stunned. He couldn't move or breath. Finally, he heard a ''click click'' sound, and everything relaxed.

This happened every night, and slowly, the boy looked as if he had no blood in him. So one night, he heard the ''click click'' sound and as the hand approached him, he pushed his hands. Then there was a soft bumping sound, and the ''click click'' and then nothing.

When he woke up in the morning, he saw dark red stains on his lovely golden carpet. He examined them closely to see that they were bloodstains. He followed the stains, and ended up where the big photo was. he pulled the frame, and with a ''click click'' the photo pryed open to reaveal a secret passage inside. Cautiously the boy followed the passage, and halted as he heard someone speaking.

"I collected so much blood, and look how much i wasted!!!"

I have never had any first-hand experiences with ghosts or kichkandi or bhankunde bhoot or anything supernatural .. but I am scared as hell when it comes to ghosts.

Haunted colleges. One of them is Bucknell University, where I spent two years of my life, with excitement, thrill, confusion, indecision, frustration and a direction!!

There is a ghost that repeatedly haunts one of the Bucknell Halls -- The Haunted "Hunt Hall".

Tender rose bahini,

For a real-life encounters with ghosts ask anyone who has ever studied in the boarding schools of Darjeeling (or somewhere around there) or Dehradoon. Most of the schools over there are reportedly spooky and the most of the boarders do have quite a few encounters-with-ghosts stories to tell ya. As for me I don't have any stories of my own. sorry, sis.

here's how you can see a ghost. Satte , it worked for me:

1. Get drunk (8 bottles of beer, 2-3 tequila shots and 120 ml Vodka)
2. Then, at around 4 Am leave the bar for your apartment/school/dorm.
3. If you are driving, stop the car say, 300 meters before your destination.
4. Start walking.
5. Choose the darkest way possible.
6. You'll see a ghost! all the alcohol you consumed just disappears and you are so sober and in 2 mins, you will be in your room.

Tender Rose,

The story you presented above is from Daulat Bikram Bista and is titled "Ufan". I did read that story one cold rainy night when I was a kid. Scared to death-well, almost.

Dear Tender Rose,

Actually, you are telling the store which was written by Keshav Raj Pidanli. I read that story long time ago. I am not sure, whether that was real story or not. But Keshav had mentioned that it was happened to him.

Regarding GHOST: I believe on Ghost. There is a reason. My anchester's old house in Kathmandu which was extreamly hunted. My mother encountered several times with Ghost and push my mom away several time. That cause, our whole family left that house and built in another place. That house is still exist and nobody live in that house yet. That house is very old and even did not have electricity or light on it. And nobody tried to demolish that house nor try to rebuild it.
