Timbur I believe is a kind of black pepper so you could call it nepali black pepper :) |

Timmur is chinese pepper corn or Schezuan pepper. Somehow they say that they have banned and none of the oriental stores in my city have it. Please let me know when you find out which stores have it. |

"Schezuan Peppers" it is. The Pacific Supermarket in Jackson Heights (for those in NY) still had them about 3 weeks ago when I was there. However, those Chinese TIMMURS are not as dark, and not as "PEERO," hence not as tasty as ours. I have a whole load of TIMMURS imported from Nepal. :) |
