Just watched the movie. It's one of the best movies. I had read this article (http://www.beliefnet.com/story/126/story_12678_1.html) after watching The Matrix Reloaded couple months ago. It's interesting that the Revolution ends with Sanskrit 'Slok' - Asato ma sat gamaya, Tamaso ma jotir gamaya...' Hmmmm.... |

tobasco and all, we have to wait for 4 weeks, at least to see it here. So, just don't write down the story etc. now. You know it sort of takes away the fun.. good reviews without any indication whatsoever about teh edning will be much appreciated though. |

When I read review by A.O. Scott (NYTimes), I could not helpmyself but laugh! Here is a bit of excerpt: "... The talk of endings in this, the third and ostensibly final movie in the series, is so insistent that you may wonder whether the Wachowski brothers, who wrote and directed it, felt the need to reassure the audience, and perhaps themselves, that it was really, finally over. There are still a few loose ends that might be spun into future sequels - "The Matrix Recycled," perhaps, or the "The Matrix Recall Election" or "The Matrix Recipe Book and Holiday Menu Planner" (featuring the Oracle's baking tips) - but the saga of Neo, which began in 1999 when he was a scruffy hacker who took a red pill, has now by all appearances reached its terminus..." And Scott goes on, "... Matrix Reloaded was certainly a lumpy, gaseious treatise of a movie, but viewers of "Revoltions" may find themselves looking aback on it fondly..." Hmmm... makes you wonder, don't you think?? Me? Saw the first one. Skipped the second one. Third one? Which third one?? Oh *The One* with the "cool" Sanskrit verse at the end and also who has a character named 'Sati'? I think I will pass that one too. |

Reviews were pretty bad; I didn't have much hope from this movie. But hey, it's Matrix. You gotta watch it no matter what. :D:D:D ... And hey, Tell you what? It turned out to be way better than reviews. (Now don't compare it with first installment of Matrix) hehe.. Few questions: Unanswered... however the movie had lots of twists and truns, which I found exciting. Of course, special effects is a killer one... There are more to tell but I just don't wanna give away any spoilers. eh! (Didn't really hear any "Sanskirt" sloka. Probably I was busy trying to figure out 'few things'. Sati name goes well with the character, but NK hazur, movie naherikana kina naak khumchyaa ho ni hau? hehe.. enjoyed that excerpt from NYT. That's exactly what I thought when I came out of the theater, is there more of the Matrix? Seems like that! |

I was disappointed with the "Revolution". There was no twists and turns of previous movies, neither was there any"(!!) "philosophical" elements. But, I wonder what was the significance of starting (quite at the begining) the movie with Indian characters and ending with Sanskrit slok ! |

i just have to confess....i haven't watched the star-trek series and the star-wars series......but i can bet that matrix series is definitely gonna beat them out if incase there's a competetion. and yeah...the third part of matrix like the other two, did have philosophical discussions. and the ending was one of the best i have ever seen.....the ending verse so frequently used in buddhism seals the saga.....i think the verses perfectly suit the situation in the movie.... it's an awesome pleasure to the brain and eyes ...if any of you guys haven't seen the movie.....go see it...you won't regret it. |

just holla at me if u want to know the ending of LOTR. I have read all ther three books. The story is really great, now doubt about that...... but the ending is kinda "Khyassa" kehi na kehi. I don't know how they would do in in the movies but if it similar to the book as it has been so far, all I can say is "Khyassa". |

Confused, You mean the team of two, one of whom is killed? How can you say that they are lesbians? They were acting together. One loading the launcher and other firing? Isn't that it? Truely enjoyed the movie last week on veterans day. Unfortunately missed the sanskrit slok. Looks like they might have blanked out this part for some sensitive areas. What say? But the sanskrit slok does seem to be an appropriate ending. |

The only way to rationalize my going to theater and watching this III part of Matrix, is that I had watched earlier 2 parts, and so in order to complete the series I went to this last one (at least last one for me, if they come up with fourth part, then I will wait ontil it will come to the Cable TV, and I will watch is for free). 1. The rig (driller) shown in the Matrix Revolution is nothing new, if you have watched the movie "Total Recall". Same stuff but with littlemodification and technology. 2. This movie tells you about Virus and anti-virus, which we daily face in our real world with our computers. The story is only about graphically showing you how anti-virus works, but with a twist as if the virus world have existence. In our regular life, we have been inserting anti-virus software into our CD-ROM drive, and let the program take care of the virus, which is not visible to us. Matrix is about exactly that part. 3. Animations, visual effects and technolgoy. Aren't we already bored about those things to watch in themoves? Now that we know how they doit in the studio.. so what's the fun? It's no longer the mystery. If we close our eyes, we can create even better imaginary world inside our head!!! But we tend to pay those guys. |
