I've set up a small opensource project at sourceforge to do simple voice synthesis for Nepali at http://sourceforge.net/projects/nepalivoice/ The work is still very preliminary and experimental, but you can actually synthesize simple sounds with nepali text (in preeti font, unicode to follow). Try it out. Anyone interested to join in this project? Sign up in the sf site if interested. |
