I am amazed and also amused to read the news such as the follwoing ones:
'Nepal, Prachanda hold secret talks'
UML General Secretary Madhav Kumar Nepal held "secret talks" with Maoist commander Prachanda in Lucknow, India, on Thursday, various news reports from Nepalgunj said Friday, quoting "high level" sources.
"During the meeting, Nepal and Prachanda discussed the contemporary issues of Nepali politics," the reports said.
"Nepal urged the Maoists to take part in the movement against regression, while Prachanda pledged Nepal to agree upon their demand of Constituent Assembly," the reports claimed.
Maoist leader Baburam Bhattarai also attended the meeting, according to the reports. "UML leaders Yubraj Gyawali and Govinda Koirala have been accompanying Nepal."
Nepal on Wednesday left for Nepalgunj without informing party cadres, security personnel and media men. nepalnews.com mr Nov 21
UML, Maoist talks inconclusive
Two days of talks between the CPN-UML and Maoists in Lucknow Wednesday and Thursday were inconclusive, Kantipur FM said quoting party General Secretary Madav Nepal in Nepalgunj Friday.
Maoists rejected a UML request to resume peace talks, the Radio said. Maoists continued with their demand for a constituent assembly. Nepal returned to Nepalgunj Friday with other members of the negotiating team. nepalnews.com br Nov.21.

For people who are in perpetual denial about the true origin of the Moaist mayhem, this incident in Lucknow should force them to face the reality: Maoists are India's proxy force to weaken, control, and finally gobble Nepal as happened to Sikkim in 1975.
Just like the US used the Mujahideen to defeat the Soviets in Afghanistan, or the US use of the Contra forces to topple the Nicaraguan government in the 1980s, the Maoists are Indian tools to destroy Nepal. None other than the veteran communist leader and former guru of Baburam and Prachanda, Mohan Bikram Singh, disclosed that the Maoists were nothing but Indian weapons against Nepal.
Comrade Mohan Bikram also said something else: just like the Maoists, all the other parties are also being used by India. That is why goo netas like Madhav Nepal and Girija, and Surya Thapa and the rest make frequent pilgrimages to Delhi Durbar....where they not only meet their Hindoostani masters but also Maoists leaders to make sinister plans on Nepal.
While the Moists are killing UML and NC workers and leaders left and right at the district level, their leaders consider it a real honor to get an audience with Baburam and Prachanda in India! What kind of political morality is this? If these leaders have no sense of obligation and responsibility to their own cadres, I am not sure how much loyalty or duty they really have for the nation and the people. If it were otherwise, shouldn't they at least have one andolan against the Maoist murder of their cadres when they have already launched andonlan # 10 against 'regression'?
The Indian government has declared the Maoists to be a terrorist group. So if that is the case, why is it allowing Prachanda & Baburam and Co. to hold court in Lucknow?
