Is gettin an autograph from Aishyarya Rai a great achievement for sajha.com ?If so, we should try to get as many autographs as we can get from Bollywood. Or, Sajha is doing the promotion of the watch shown in the picture? If Sajha is getting money from the promotion, that is OK. NOt only Ok, its good, may be better or the best.Otherwise, the administration should think about it. No offense. dhill out;)

What are you trying to say Gerox. Autograph is an autograph, what difference does it make... I don't understand

Gerox, This reflects the dedication, love and attention of San towards his baby, Sajha.com. He could have asked the autograph for himself, instead he asked for the Sajha. You should be grateful towards him.

There are thousands of nepali websites, and so many discussion boards..if Sajha has become successful today , its because of the people who visit the site and contribute their time not because of san. No offense to San but the San bhakti got to stop somewhere..I agree he deserves praise for he is the creator but for god sake ..sajha has become popular because of the quality of the visitors input and involment.

Had it been Julia Roberts instead of Aishwarya Rai, it would not have been such a problem I guess. It's our anti-Indian sentiment speaking over here. As for San-bhakti, all I have to say is that this is a personal portal started by San and not a public one. We must remember that we get to exchange our views on anything under the sun for FREE over here only because someone else is paying for it. And that someone else is San although there are some web banners on the site. I think we must give due respect for San and his efforts. As for Aishworya Rai's autograph, this is San's portal. His house. He is free to do anything he likes to do in his house.

Is sajha meant to collect autographs or have important and interesting dicussions on issues of relevance to us and Nepal? Where are we heading? Flood the forum with as many autographs as you can, but I am signing off this because I thought it would be a clean site. It no longer looks so, if this is any indication!

I don't see how an autograph from former Miss World makes this site "not clean."

Why not clean sajha off this junk? If you are Rai's fan, so be it. You get the autographs or anything else, nobody will comment. But if this is a sajha forum and you are littering with someone's fanatical worship of someone--no matter who it is, Hollywood o Bollywood, that is different matter. OK if Aishwarya Rai has something to say on sajha, participate in any discussion, or any suggestion about how best sajha would run--she would be more than welcome and I think nobody would even imagine taking any exception to that! But what is she doing here? Just an object of voyeuristic gaze, esp for her fanatical fan, that everyone else is now subjected to?

Like I said before "Autograph is just an autograph" Why are you guys making it such a big deal. It has nothing to do with people here in sajha or any other threads. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . It's San dai who takes his time and does all the work and he has right to do whatever he wants with it. It's not San bhakti, it's the truth......... " I am signing off this because I thought it would be a clean site. It no longer looks so, if this is any indication" You want to leave just because of this thread and autograph then I have nothing else to say. I can't believe you're making it so big.

ok I have a question... suppose you let me stay in your place... I feel really comfortable after a while... does that mean that I have a right to tell you one day that the color you picked for your walls of your room is aweful, and tell you to pick something else of my choice? I dont think this website is designed to suit any individual or group and if there are things that dont suit your menu then theres a "X" sign on the top right of the web browers. Click on it and thats your solution. The thing about Aishwarya Rai is she is a big star whether you like it or not. She wrote something nice for the sajha.com NOT for San and he wants to share it with us. Whats so wrong with that? Take it easy people... its an autograph.

I would like to inform everyone that sajha is fortunate enough to have many well wishers who share the love for sajha as I do myself. This autograph was sent by a wellwisher of sajha.com who took the time to get this for sajha and I am thankful for this as well. Sajha is about expressing one's opinions and everyone is free to do so keeping an open mind that not everyone will agree with their opinions. It is the respect for others' opinions while having ones own strong opinion that makes the posters in this site stand out from other sites. It's all good Best Wishes

Hi all there! I think getting and posting the autograph from Aish (comeon she is ex-Miss World) is a nice gesture from San. I am sure in future, any received autographs from Nepali celebrities (if he receives from fans like us) will be posted also. I think, we should thank San for what he has done for us but as dautari has put, "Auna dinda dundulno nilne kaam garnu bhayena" is quite abusive towards gerox and enigma_too, as well as me who use sajha in true spirit, not as some sort of "aula" from someone as if we are begging for it. San has started this forum so that we can open our hearts with freedom, without hurting others. May be Gerox and enigma_too are wrong but they have right to jot their feelings out. I am sure answer from San has melted their feelings. But the words of Sanism and Anti-Sanism has to end here. As for me I am looking for a free forum, not a political forum where biased and unbiased entities argue all the time. So lets be non abusive towards others, try to respect others feelings and let San's dream of making Sajha.com a portal for brotherhood come true. Lastly, in a lighter note I want to forcast the outcome of this issue (no offense, just kidding): Gerox, enigma_too will be restricted from sajha.com (because they had guts enough to say what they think)...I wonder who will restrict them...... and dautari, Shirish, Hiphop will be included in San's hall of fame (for supporting him). Chao!

Hoina Bhunte jee! Noone is pulling noone's leg. All I am saying is let us keep this type of candid argument alive. Thats the way a forum works. We all are "baag" in this matter and all of our mookh is raato. I wonder who is the escape goat in this process. No wonder, ourselves. So lets forget this hunt and prey saga and lets be proud of our candid expressions. Chao!

Dear Hareky dai, Discouraging one's endeavour can also be termed as leg pulling. Well, the signed autograph may not be valuable to Gorex or eNgima, but can be invaluable to many others. But why so much "tauko or dant dukhai" for them? Is getting autograph signed from celebrities a shame? Aishworya Rai signed for Sajha.com which I consider a token of her best wishes to the web site and Nepali community. The good about this site is the freedom of expression. However, if Aisworya Rai browse this thread and finds people gossiping of her autograph and feels awful about Nepali community, don't you feel ashamed? Just a thought hai. A Fan of Aisworya Rai

I think the analogy of visiting Sajha to that of visiting or staying as a guest in someone else's house is inappropriate. Sajha.com is a business. The webmaster is not doing any favor to any visitors and nor are the visitors doing any favor to the webmaster or his website. It is a mutually beneficial relationship where each party is getting what they want by pursuing their self-interest. Sajha visitors are looking for a good site to share their opinions at and because of the number of hits to the website that is thus generated, advertisers come to Sajha and pay the webmaster to advertise. Like I said earlier, it is a pure give and take relationship just like any other business transaction. We are not guests at the Webmaster's house, because he is not giving us access to this site for free. Just because there are no monetary costs involved, doesn't mean that something is for FREE. You are not paying to visit this site by paying money but there are other costs involved like your opportunity cost (you could have used your time in doing something else). I guess my point is that the analogy of a hotel would be more appropriate, where the hotel shelters the customer and the customer is paying the hotel for the services provided. Therefore, the customer has all the right in the world to say if the wall color is not right or if the bed is too hard or whatever...Now, it is upto the hotel (the webmaster in this case) to honor that request or choose to forego the customer, whatever makes the most economic sense for him.

My last remarks sounded offensive to some although it was not intentional. I apologise for those remarks. However, I was just being grateful to San for getting this site going. I don't need to post my supporting posts in order to be in San's hall of fame. I have known San from my school days, although I am not sure San knows who I am behind this screen name of mine.

I agree with Rosie. And bhunte jee, please read my post. I have appreciated both San's endevor and other member's point of view. And for what Aishwarya will think after going through this thread, that is of my least concern. If you and me and all sajhaits are happy with this fair brainstorming why should we care about what she will think. Comeon... I am going. I think, I wasted so many words behind something that really doesn't make any sense. Aish signed something, someone posted something and we all are worried for that. Comeon, we have more salient issues to worry about. Phew!

Hahahaha,.. well.. this is like one of those jokes that goes on and on... Someone puts something on the web, which is not even offensive by any means( to say the least), and people are complaining. Hehe...well.. but I guess we all have a right to free speech.. and the person criticizing the action of the webmaster was just expressing his point of view. If anyone who is expressing His/Her thoughts, positive or vice versa should be entitled to do so. Anyone who chooses to counter it should be able to too. SO people, keep on pouring your thoughts, praises, expert opinions ( like mine ;)) ... and make this site richer... just imagine.. if only "politically correct" writers would be posting in sajha.. this site would not be half as popular as it is now. So no matter how stupid, arrogant, silly your thoughts are... Keep it rollin... I am doing that right now hehehe... ( dherai heere... pade.. aba ali ali lekh pani thalnu paryo bhanera agadi badeko ma pani.. lu jaa:)) And Bhunte ji.. Rosie's writing sounds more like an economy major ko jasto ( with opportunity cost and all) than accounting major. Well I could be wrong..now it is something only Rosie can verify.... am just trying to link her writing to some major here ( actually I just wanted to say that much.. alik badi gayecha.. haha) Lemme just check out some more interesting writings..IndisGuise:)

Rosieji, So you prefer the analogy of sajha.com with the hotel better? Well lets see... can you name a hotel where, I can go in anytime I want, make a mess and have someone else or rather the advertisements (if thats what you are referring to) pick up my bills. Again about your thought about "opportunity costs?" That just blew me away. So sajha.com should pay you, send you a check every month for visiting this site? No one is asking you to come here and spitter spatter... esp. something that doesnt make sense at all. I am very glad you just took a couple of econ. classes... you sure were not headed to the right direction, to be honest with you. Someone did say it well when they said this country has too many lawyers... Opportunity costs...he he ... straight out of a third grade law text book...

Yep, I only took a couple of classes in Economics, but it seems like you need to take a couple of classes in Common Sense. I am not saying that Sajha should send me a check for my opportunity cost...do you even understand the meaning of opportunity cost? All I am saying is that Sajha and its visitors are both motivated by their self-interest and this in turn results in a "mutually beneficial relationship." And as a part of this healthy relationship, both parties are entitled to freely exchange their opinions, views, or requests. This doesn't mean, however, that anyone is forced to grant the request of the other And about the hotel...seems to me like you've never stayed at a hotel before...I guess motel six doesn't exactly qualify...lol 'Cause if you go to a hotel and you stay there and make a big mess....even if you turn the bed upside down or totally trash up the bathroom, as long as you pay your bills, the hotel won't mind picking up your mess. And by the way, I don't think anyone here in Sajha is making a mess...we are here to exchange our views and just because my view does not resonate with your so very intellectual views, it can't be termed "spitter spatter." Give your ego a reality check... The concept of "opportunity cost" might be very basic or "third grade" as you call it, but it sure does explain a lot of things... As someone once aptly stated, "its the economy, STUPID!!!"

So many responses.WOW. And all against me.Loud WOW. I just posted my thought. That was my viewpoint. One can not say I was, or I am against SAN. If every visitor had to support, nobody would like to visit this site. Some of the posters argued that "SAN is everything ,and we have to follow and believe whatever he does".If thats the point, whats the use of this Kurakani thread?Anyway, everybody focused on my first point only.I had also put something on the watch that we could see with Aisharya. Is this a free promotion or paid one? That is none of my concern if administrators do not care about it.Anyway,I have one suggestion for nepalese business persons who pay sajha.com to place their promotional banners:"Just get an autograph from famous person signed on your product, give it to SAN, he will post it for free". chill out:)
