Yeah, so first I was down with flu..err....why do they call it a flu..lets just say flu like symptoms cause the flu test came out negative.
Something to be happy about?
Well, when you get sick, you find so many excuses for yourself, and I found a perfect one to sleep throughout the weekend. There isn't a feeling compared when you can say to yourself every minute that "I am sick, I can't study. I need to sleep" :) There are myriad times you get homesick but none greater when you are bed ridden. Times have transformed to such a degree that the things we used to take for granted yesterday are the things I long the most now
...a good soup or tea at bed, feeling of my maami's palm on my forehead to see if the fever subsided....and that ever so soothing question "babu, k khana maun cha?"
"ek cup tat tato chiya" I blurt aloud. The walls listen and laugh at me. Damn! Are we really happy in US? Well, even grinning is a kind of depression.
But that's just half the story...
Yeah, so I limp myself to the library, work all night long on a website that's due soon so that I won't have to cram everything for the finals week...aaah! a little fleeting satisfaction. The next day the professor decides not to accept anyone's projects why? Cause HE and HE ALONE THINKS that it was due before thanxgiving. The entire class disagrees in unison. Professor refutes back saying HE REMEMBERS ANNOUNCING TWICE IN CLASS......he doesn't admit it..Gimme a break! He remembers announcing in class twice almost a month ago and he keeps forgetting where he kept the lecture notes every minute or so?
But here's his verdict: The entire class of 20 students forgot the deadline.(what a bloody coincidence)...and each of us is gonna pay for it...!! My friends haven't given up...they are ready to go up to the Dean if deemed necessary......well me..errrrrrrrrrr
I am more worried bout my nose. It's going on like the neverending waterfall of the Niagara!Forget my *startrek* ears; if this goes on, I might have to peel it off by tomorrow. Anyways, I am not gonna sacrifice sleep again! Someone once told me the only primary luxuries a human is entitled is his sleep and his beliefs......I am the most skeptic person I know on this planet...so I'll stick with sleep:)

Hey oys bro,
hope you get well by the finals. My own finals woes have started. Being a pathetic student as I am, I am still making no attempts at actually preparing for those darned finals.

I regret to inform you again that the server hosting sajha.com is having some problems so until the problems have been fixed, sajha is being hosted at a temporary location.
The current temp server might give you a Page Not Found message sometimes due to heavy traffic. In that case simply hit the REFRESH button.
