This is what in use,

Statesman = Rajneta
Politician = Rajneetigya
Leader = Neta

However, since the word 'Politician' has two meanings, we should have used two separate words to mean each one separately,

(i) Politician (expert in politics) = Rajneetigya
(ii) Politician (political worker) = Rajkarmi

I hope someday we will start using the word 'Rajkarmi' too.

I wonder how we'd translate those words for places/times when there is no king...

deshneta
deshnitigya
deshkarmi
?

Or... if sovereignty is with the janta...
janneta
jannitigy
jankarmi
?

What would our cousins in Burma say... hmmm have to ask...
juntaneta
juntanitigya
juntakarmi
?
