I just happened to come across this news while surfing thru the web. I found the act of the youth so disguiting that I do not have words to discribe. I believe, the issue of child molestation and sex crimes are at large taboo to talk in our culture. Here, I would like to have an open discussion, and would like to hear the opinions of all and sundry people. In Disgust----> Indisguise:(
Youth rapes four-month-old in Mahim

A sexual crime at its disgusting worst took place at 11.30 pm on Sunday in Mahim. A 20-year-old unemployed youth raped a four-month-old girl on the pretext of taking her out for a walk.
Rizwan Sheikh, a youth from Habib Chawl on Cadel Road in Mahim, took the girl, daughter of his next door neighbour Tarannum Quereshi, for a stroll after she started crying around 11.30 pm on Sunday.
The girl was bleeding from her private parts when Sheikh left her with her mother an hour later. Sheikh slipped away unnoticed. A worried Quereshi, along with relatives, took the child to Nair Hospital where the doctors confirmed she had been raped.
“We have received a message from Nair Hospital about the rape and have sent our team to the hospital following complaint against Sheikh,” said Anand Chavan, senior police inspector, Mahim police station.
According to Chavan, the police found Sheikh in his house when they raided it around 2 am on Monday.
“He has confessed to the crime. He told us he had taken the child to a deserted alley near the chawl itself and had raped her. We have sent Sheikh for medical tests to Nagpada Police Hospital,” Chavan said.
A case of rape under Section 376 of the Indian Penal Code has been registered at Mahim police station. Investigations are on.
