"All alone standing in front of the mirror
There I am, prfectly well.
No swooshing blood, no bruises
But still I feel the pain.
I am in pain.
What is this am I going insane ?
I touch my body, but I can’t feel it…my touch.
Shocked, I lift my lashes again
And this time I see those dark eyes
I see deep sadness in them.
Which floods deep within, into every inch that makes her whole.
The world seems to swim before them.
I sense a heavy load on the heart
Through the eyes I feel the yearning
As if they are looking for a smile.
As if they are looking for love.
Though , I don’t know why I feel so
But I really do.
That love isn’t enough to heal the hurt which I see in those eyes.
Coz, I see fear in them too.
Fear of getting hurt again..
Silence in those eyes are building an awful wreckage
It is feeding on loneliness, creating a void
Gray shadows haunting and tormenting and torturing
I am hypnotized by the look, by those eyes....
And the painted face- warm, tired black moistened eyes filled with nothing but thanks for me.
Atleast I am here with her."

"The pair of them is breaking my heart
The intensity of pain in those eyes scares me,
Coz I see broken dreams in them..
Shattered hopes they carry
The eyes are filled with water.
Hey look at them.
It seems that they are crying for the first time, as a flood of tears pour out of her in all her expressions,
more and more comes, more and more depression
Streams of tears are dripping down her heart.
Tears rolling down her cheeks.
I am feeling the warmth of water on my flesh
The eyes blurrs, but I still can see.
Fingers trying to reroute the water cascading down
But there seems no end.
I sense deep sadness in every teardrop.
Each drop equally weighted, equally heavy on heart
Dreams and hopes seems far away
Darkness seems to be knocking at the door
I sense her only high inflicting pain.
She is very lonely out there
She needs me.
I want to bring her out from behind the rigid walls
But I can’t even reach her.
I can’t even touch her, for the glass walls by her are still high,
Keeping me at bay.
Her eyes are gasping for a touch,
Tears yearning for love...They want to take a breath of life.
Her sparkling tears are questioning me...If they ever will be free?
A state of fear coming over the eyes,
Very unsure they are...For she is a chained soul
Emotions under siege.
She can’t even let them out.
I want to hold her, assure her that I’ll be there for her every time she needs me
But I am so helpless, for I can’t even tell her that..
Oh God! Please help me.
I am shivering at the very thought of leaving her alone..
She needs me, how can I leave her
She needs me.
Suddenly a warm feeling is coming over me,
I can feel two arms embracing me, soft palms gently touching my skin..
A kind touch looking for me.
I am feeling the touch!
The same hands who once shook the cradle (the pain out of me), I can see
Grasping my hand,
Their inner warmth shielding me
And I can also see glass wall melting.
Every thing is changing
I hear the chains breaking.
Maybe those eyes, the soul is finally breaking free!
I sense a familiar fragrance in the room..
And my pain is slowly draining away
I turn around and I see two gentle eyes,
A loving face appearing from the darkness,
Flashing a magical, healing smile my way, taking me under her wings.
I now know everything will be all right.
Like the first ray of light it seems.
The vision of my reflection appears
I see her, her reflection
Coz the glass wall has finally melted.
Everything is clear now.
I am again looking in the mirror,
For I am the GurL
Now in my mom’s warm embrace."
