While chatting in the Sajha chat room, The Other Usual Guy, revelaed the fact, his contacts with Kathmandu and has come to the conclusion that the Maoist leaders Prachanda, Baburam et al, who are using the ammunitions without bullets, are going to surrender.
“Not confirmed yet, but their surrender is instigated by the capture of Saddam Hussein”, he added. Whether the surrender ceremony will be in the international media still remains as a question. It has been stipulated that the media coverage will not be as wide as Saddam’s. But the leaders are going to get the medical from the docs of RNA at Chhauni.
The news is still limited to rumors, currently, but the Information Minister Mr. Kamal Thapa’s announcement of “amnesty to surrenders” and the said Sundarijal and Tanahun may be a “hint” that those Maoists running out of gas, are willing to give up the demand of republic.
The exact relation between the visit of Asst. Foreign Minister of US Christina Rocca and the current development is not yet to be undertood.
