Ambassadors say stability must for economic growth KOL Report KATHMANDU, Dec 19 - The ambassadors of America, India and U.K have reiterated that political stability in the country is the first pre-condition to consolidate the economic growth of Nepal. Speaking at a program in the capital Friday the ambassadors said the economic growth couldn’t be maintained in the face of escalating conflict and ill governance in the country. Indian ambassador Shyam Sharan said Indian government is interested in helping Nepal develop its economic growth provided it included the participation of marginalized class in the process of development. Similarly, ambassador of UK Keith Bloomsfield said that Nepal is facing economic and political problems owing to lack of good governance. However, speaking to the same program, the business entrepreneurs expressed, they were faced with the challenges ahead to continue with their business even in the face of adverse circumstances in the country.
