It was great fun in Lhochaar Party. Folk songs and dances....Teasty food...Sel Roti and Khashi ko maasu ..etc....and meeting wit new Sajhayatees...was really great.
Pontee lai vetdaa ta jhan ramaailo ta kati ho kati....

you left little early ni for good i guess. ali dherai basya bhaye Live Kusti pani herna painthyo.......
It sure was a wonderful program endowed with authentic tamu samaj dances, songs and numbers which we don't get to see elsewhere. The program was a sell out. Food was superb as well.Meeting new sajhaites was even better. However, I wonder what kind of impression the program has left especially the fightin part. If it were some bachelor party it could be understood..jaand khayo, jhagada garyo bhannu."Nepali haroo jaha gaye ni tyastai ho" could be resonated again and again.
but common..jees....there were families, seniors, elders, kids and and minors......I saw people come out with disbelief and speechless. I had never seen one of those infamous Nepali feud in US..tyo pani dekhiyo. Reminded me of handigaon jatra days. However, I am shocked that people could stoop down so much to rip open the donation box and use that money to buy alcohol.
This does not however mean to belittle the superb program organized and put forth by the tamu samaj. Kudos to all the participants, organizers and volunteers. I personally hope that we leave aside such animosity, personal grudges and public fighting spirit as we bid goodbye to 2003 and hope for more such programs in 2004 without any profanity. Happy and prosperous new year to everyone!

Fight? As they say s h i t happens, but for god's sake, getting into the donation box? You, whoever participated in stealing donation, should be exiled to jungle for fourteen years.
Happy new year any way.
And just out of curiosity, what kind of calender do the tamus go by. New years now? Just wondering.

However we left the party lil bit early...we went to one of the Sajhayati's house for another session of party. You missed the great fun ..Buddy !! Bhagya maa lekhera aaunu parcha kya!! Ajhai malai chado januvo vanne ?? ....He He ..

Photoharu ta heriyo, program ramrai bhayeko rahechha jasto chha. Aafu ta tadha ko manchhe pariyo, jana paiyena. But I could not find any photos likely to be yours: with long beard, latte hair, ash-marking on the forehead, pahelo bastra or something like that. Ekfera Darshan garne utkanta thiyo, khai?

I loved the Lochhar party. I enjoyed meeting everyone like Trikal Bajey, Oys, Donny, Baller, Smriti, San Dai and oh yeah Dangggg.
Sorry Dangggg I didn't reconize you. You should have told me. I didn't know who you were until someone told me the day after. I was like SHOOT, I should have talked to him.
Oh yeah food was great, Music was great, Cultural Show was amazing, DJ was great as well but only thing I hated was everyone kept staring at me. It was my first time being in Boston and people kept staring, made me feel uneasy.
The fight was totally unnecessary. I was dancing with Baller and Oys and I didn't even know what was going on until they turned the light on and music stopped. There won't be a nepali party without a fight, that's a fact.
Overall it was great. Boston is great. Oys thanks for the dance, I enjoyed it.
