Where is a goodplace to get married beside nepal, hawaii and las vegas?
In dilemma...
Please Advice!!!

If you live in Nepal, Nepal is certainly the best place to get married. But, if I have to choose one between Hawaii and Las Vegas, I would choose Hawaii. Las Vegas is nothing but a gambling city. All you can see is lights and casinos and so on. There is nothing "natural" to see in Las Vegas compare to Hawaii. Hawaii is a paradise. Nevertheless, Nepal is the best.

I think the best place to get married is where your friends and families are. Unless you wanna get married gup-chup gup-chup (hush hush). Sathi-bhai bina ke bihe garai bho! ;)

I do not think Las Vegas (sin city) is a good place to perform the most important function of your life.Hawaii should be the best.I agree with friends above.

Seems like everone is enchanted with hawaii.... My fiance and I have been to hawaii three times in last 3 yrs... I can understand why everyone want to marry in hawaii.. . since ihave been there 3 times i wanted to try something new.
Advice is appreciated!!!

adhi, Congratulation!
Hawaii is the best for your one time event in life, but choice is yours. in hawaii u will feel mother nature like clear sunny sky, deep blue ocean, rainbow, rain, beautifully carved mountains, live volcano, warm weather, light breeze, waves, snow, birds, fishes and turtles, orchids etc witnessing ur marriage. San Diego is boring to me but Hawaii never qenching. i can use all my influence there to make ur marriage ceremonous with nepali families if u wish so.

To me Hawaii and Las Vegas sounds more like Honeymoon destinations. Las Vegas is more famous for Quick marriages and bachlor parties.
If you take my advise, get married at a place where you have lots of friends and family. Throw a big party . Let your friends and family enjoy your wedding and dance samba and cha cha...
Then take a place and goto Paris...

Unless you can afford to fly your family/friends to your wedding destination or it's a super posh wedding with a few acquaintances, I would seriously consider taking Kala's advice and marry where your friends and family are. For your honeymoon destination, there are just too many choices besides the ones you mentioned. Keep in mind, all of these variables play a role-- budget, interests, fiancé’s choice, time constraints b/c of work commitments, etc. when deciding on your ultimate destination. Once that is settled, take a look at these popular honeymoon destinations:
Paris = romance + more romance
Hawaii, or The Caribbean-- Mexican Riviera (Cancun, Xtapa), Jamaica, the Bahamas, etc. = romance + beaches
Ireland = romance + old castles
Vegas = romance + casino
Cairns (the Great Barrier Reef) = romance + scuba diving
Ibiza = romance + clubbing
Nepal = romance + sightseeing
Cruises = romance + relaxation
Pamplona = romance + bull run (only in July)
I don't recommend the last one, but it's one of my favorite; Nothing like a 1000 lb bull chasing you and your bride/groom down an alley full of crazy thrill seekers !! Mind you, if he/she falls down you might have to carry him/her on your shoulders. God forbid if you don't, you know what that means. Note: do not go if you get easily frightened by seeing a chihuahua :-)
Sightseeing in Nepal used to be popular until the interference of the guerrillas seems to scare most of the honeymooners away. So, I don't recommend that either.
I would suggest hiring a good travel agent if you are still unsure of where to go. Whatever you decide, have an unforgettable honeymoon !

depends what kind of a wedding you want/ if its a white wedding, then yeah, all these places sound perfect, but i think a nepali wedding would be the best in nepal itself.
if i had a white wedding, it would be in a vineyard in italia...

Seems to me like people at this message board like wedding, don't you guys?? My fiance and I were married in Nepal. Our dream was to get married at one temple where we always liked to visit. Like people said above, get married where your friends and family are.

Every one is sayin paris .... tara who has been there yet? Koi nepali haru holan ni? Bhole babaji hajur gaisya chha bhane yeso two char kura sunum na hami pani paris ko... mero ni jamghat hune bela bhayo ni... bichar gardai garnu paryo ni aba hoina ra?
Mero ideal wedding place would be among big gardens of tulips just like in the Yeh kaaha ayegaye hum.... with amitabh and rekha... afno the sathi bhai ra risthedar haru ni chaina yo desh ma.. aba bihe garne bela buda ra budhi ta ho ni... yeso sabai ko two cent sunum bhanera...
ani adhi lai chahi hamro dherai dherai bhadai chha.
Poonte dai, adhi le nabolaye pani mero bihe ma aunu parchha hai... Moj garnu parla... bhole baba ji chahi ganza dhaturo liyera aisyos hai....
