There are 10000 Nepalese living in DC Maryland-virginia area. There would be plenty of them.

well seems all those 10000 are either too busy in study so no time to log in sajha or not interested to meet another Nepalese folk coming from UK(sat samundra paar). Anyway I have to say thank you Bhole_babeji for your darshan.

Himali_Yatri ji, welcome to USA! Wish I am around Baltimore to have guff gaff over a cup of coffee or dinner. Probably Baltimorians were too scared of your skills of gender reversion...eh eh eh. Anyway, enjoy your trip!

Yatri don't blame anyone for not rolling down the red carpet for you. Eveyone must be busy in their own world. Noone has anything against you. As the number of Nepalis grow in the US and or any other city, it will be a common thing to see a Nepali around. Why would anyone want to meet another person just because he's a Nepali.

Himali Yatri....check out the BANA website. Its the the association of Nepalis in Baltimore. I am not sure how functional the site is---but its a good start. You could probably stumble into some one. Good Luck!!!

Finally got some responses, great. At least this feeling of being ignored disappeared a bit. Bhunteji! I wish you were around there so that we can discuss about your gender reversion to make you the first female planning commissioner of Nepal.Just kidding, Bhaujuko godhai khanu chhaina tapaiko gender change garera. But we will see someday in ratna park as I said before. SAROJ! so far as I remember I don't think I blamed anyone, neither am I expecting anyone to roll red carpet for me.To be honest I don't like red color, that is one of many reasons, I left job as surgeon and came to be a scientist. But again it doesn't mean that i am expecting someone to roll blue carpet for me. Dazzling ko keti! thanks a lot for the information about BANA, I will definately check the website.Hopefully I will be able to meet some. Luckydude! I love starbucks double expresso. It will be great to have opportunity to meet you for coffe. Thanks for your invitation, I would love to come seatle if time allows me. Raiji! Thanks a lot for giving me such a honour by putting me in your list of few Sajhaites that you are interested to meet.I do remember BELGIUM connection, haven't heard from her long long time though. Do miss her sometimes. She is a great sister and a good freind. Thanks for your invitation. I would love to visit you someday. And you are always welcome to be my guest in Cambridge. Best regards Himali_yatri
