Congratulations to Mr. Buddhi Narayan Shrestha who is a parent and a father-in-law of some active Boston community members. Mr. Shrestha is the winner of this year's MADAN PURASKAR (which is sort of like Nepal's Pulitzer), Nepal's most prestigious award in literature (broadly defined). Mr. Shrestha's award is for his non-fiction book "Nepal ko Seema Naa". Mr. Shrestha has made quite a few visits to Boston, and had given presentations to Boston Nepalis about Nepal's borders. Congratulations to him, and to his proud daughter and poetic son-in-law in Worchester, Mass. oohi ashu

That's a great news. The book was mentioned quite a few times in this discussion section also, and I had posted a comment on the book also, it is a wonderful book, a most read for everybody interested in our country's relation with our neighbors. As a chief of our Naapi Bhivag, he brings a treasure trove of knowledge for us less initiated people about our boundaries. Thanks Mabi for mailing that book to me. Mr Shrestha is an undefeataguible fighter of our boundray-right, and in this critical juncture of our history, the book will teach to be more attentive and careful about protecting the sanctity of our borders while maintaining cordial relationship with our neighbors. Thanks Madan Puraskar Guthi for the prize.

Congratulation to B. N. Shrestha. It is definitely soothing to read some good news amidst the news of massacre, conspiracy, decadence and anarchy.
