Once I posted the news I read about a girl aged 18, in a village in Nepal. She died due to bleeding while giving brith to a child. Had there been simple medical facility (a nurse or doctor or health assistant) she would have survived. That was the news in the local paper. Along with the news, I also posted about the foreign educated doctors, about 5000 in numbers, who are not allowed to practice in Canada while they were selected, being a doctor. Recently, a surgeon from Bombay gave an interview in the TV, I viewed with my own eyes - THE CANADIAN GOVT. HAS NO ATTITUDE AT ALL, HE SAID. HE IS NOW LOOKING FORWARD TO GO TO US. HE PASSED ALL THE EXAMS NECESSARY SPENDING ALL HIS LIFE-TIME EARNINGS. NEXT, HE NEEDED RESIDENCY WORK FOR ONE YEAR. BUT ALAS ! NO CHANCE TO GET ONE. JUST SEE THE FUN....THERE ARE HIGH SHORTAGES OF DOCTORS IN CANADA. I AM WRITING THIS BECAUSE WHEN I POSTED LAST TIME, SAJHA ADMINISTRATORS TOOK IT OUT. MAY BE THIS TIME TOO, THE SAME WILL HAPPEN. WHY ARE WE SCARED TO SPEAK THE TRUTH OUT? IS IT BECAUSE WE ARE POOR? BUT I THINK, IT IS BECAUSE WE ARE COWARD.
