It has been quite a while since I saw a poem in this site. What follows is not precisely a poem, but I hope it is close to being one. Sorry I do not yet know how to type in Nepali script. -------------------------------------------- Untitled Misunderstood Poet January 22, 2004 Fittalo masi, asudhdha bhaasaa Tyo apusta pustataa herdaa Laagthyo, Lekhdaa lekhdai unko haat larbaraaudai thiyo Yobanko taranga le sagarmatha chumdai thiyo Aafailaai dekhera uni eklai muskuraaudai thiyin Bhaigo pathaaudina bhanera Kaiyou patak kachyaak-kuchuk paareki thiyin Arule dekhlaan bhanera Dherai raat takiyaa muni raakheki thiyin Sarmaayeki thiyin, daraayeki thiyin, Ani feri bhawana maa haraayeki thiyin Bhawana maa bahadaa bahadai Kaiyou patak kalamko masi sakeki thiyin, feri bhareki thiyin Mithaa sabda haruko khojimaa Baarambaar sabdakosh hereki thiyin Lekheki thiyin, meteki thiyin, ani feri lekheki thiyin Kun tasbir pathaaun bhanera Album kaa pratyek paanaa paltaayeki thiyin Kaiyou patak ko jhikaai ra raakhaai pachhi Sabai bhandaa sundar tasbir rojeki thiyin Aafnai tasbir herera muskuraayeki thiyin Kasaile dekhihaalyo ki bhanera wori pari hereki thiyin Dherai bhareki thiyin, thorai koreki thiyin Huna ta chithi unle nai lekhin Tara malaai pani uni saarai man pareki thiyin. ----------------------- |

M.P ko mitho sabda le aaja ko thakai nai metiyo :). nepalima jasto saralta, mithas ra gairahi aroo bhasa ma ni huncha ra jasto lagcha kaile kahi :). Anyways, Uni le ni yo kabita padlin ani pheri hamro MP lai madhur muskan delin bhanne kamana gardachu. Hyallu Simpy dizzu...where art thou? long time no see no hear! i hope u r doing well....or laberia le bhetyo ;)? loo ta back to dungeons of doom :( |

You are right! Fitalo Masi is asuddha bhasa. Should it not be Patalo Masi? apusta pustataa - What is the metaphore? Is it another oxymoron in Nepali? Oh! What happened after all? Apusta pushtata ever been pusta or just your nerves, and more, got swollen? Ahara paye pacchi thugna uddhat rahe jasta dekhine due chanchu yugma mahan sundarata ka kendra thiye. BPK, Katha.:) |

Thank you, Akhilesh-ji, for the wonderful site; it was great. Now I am really excited about learning to type in Nepali. And, thanks, SimpleGirl, Oys, Biswo, nsshrestha, gunaraji (especially for typping the whole poem in Nepali for me), for taking time to read the poem.
